Go for it! You'll love the throaty sound/hp gain.

Id replace the clamps though when you do the install... a lot of ebay company's use cheap products.

wouldnt it be worth it to just buy a cai off customgrandam.com for 150, spend the little extra money and know that the product is going to be good quality?

I love your useful information. I want to trade the Ported and Polished intake manifolds to my magnaflow exhaust systems. What will be the additional needed?

A CAI won't trigger a SES will it? I really hope not.
mine did not. Great mod and a good price. Happy with my results.

I bought the 3 piece cold air one though. Not the cheapo warm air induction.

as far as parts nothing really, though at the very least a cai. a cat back and 65 mm throttle body will beneficial too. itll compliment the more air thats being sucked in. imo modding order should go like this:
cai
cat back
ported intakes w/ 65 mm tb
pcm tune
headers(have to be custom made at this point)
heads/cam combo
then if boost:
built trans
boost

of course if all of this is being done at once, you wouldnt do the pcm tune til last, and at that point it would be beneficial to buy your own tuner

Out of curiosity does it matter which camshaft you switch to, I see in MMS they offer 3 different cams. N/A, turbo and super. Would it matter which you want to start with?

Like say you get a N/A but eventually want to add a turbo, would you need to switch to a turbocharged cam? Or would just getting the turbocharged at the start harm your engine without the turbo?

i'm guessing that it won't hurt to run boosted applications on a medium aggresive (street/strip) N/A cam. but getting a turbo cam, i think you really need to have a dedicated race car. because your fuel econy and drivability would suffer noticeably.

Depends on the actual specs. I have setup cams that work great NA and Turbo.

No, not necessarily in that order, but from the info there, and in other places in this thread, you should be able to discern what the advantages/disadvantages are and figure out what you want to get next. It's certainly been spelled out plenty of times in this section as a whole.

Well i'd have to hear a GAGT with aftermarket exhaust before i did that. IMO they sound like a car without a muffler with a.m. exhaust.
