To sell or not to sell

I've got my eye on a few late 90's cobra mustangs and a few ws6 trans am's. But I am having a hard time deciding what I should do, I have so much money in this car I would be losing big time even if I sold it for what I owe on it. I am kinda ready for a change but I also want to keep the car because I have owned it since 24k miles (currently at 58k) and know it inside and out and it wouldn't take much more performance wise to make it a quick car. If I do keep it I will most likely follow through with my plans of putting a new cam and heads on it this summer. As well as upgrading the trans.

Just kinda torn on what to do and looking for input from other people. There is not a single thing wrong with the car just lookin for somethin else to be excited about. kthxbye

unless you can find a nice/rare WS6 or Cobra, I'd just hold onto the GA.

With that being said, maybe you try and sell it around town, just to see what you could get for it, and whether thats enough to put towards the Cobra/WS6... because nice ones will be expensive.

id put it up on craigslist using a professional looking ad for a modded car. It's probably worth a whole lot less than your paid for it already and that will only continue, would you rather get "something" for it now, or nothing at all in a year or two?

I'd keep it and just start saving for another car... its already a good DD, why not stop spending $$ on it, and put the $$ towards a weekend car?

Keep it and buy a second car.

As soon as my GA is paid for, sometime this year, I will be finding a 02 WS6, thinking collectors edition, and driving that in the summer, and keeping the GA for a DD and winter.

if your interested in a mustang, you could always find one cheap and keep your ga. find one without a motor and build one to whatever performance you want. building a ford motor is almost like a honda motor. the aftermarket is insane for them. you could have yourself a pretty nasty street car for around 10-12k

I bought a 74 Nova back in Oct. Moded the crap out of it and it's a beast. Lost site of the Grand Ma after the turbo header GB fiasco. But I'm gunna keep the GA as a DD. You may decide otherwise for yours...here's the Nova with the new headers and stuff. Lots to go, but been lots of fun:

Guy called me today offering me a straight up trade for his 99 cobra convertible, 103k miles, He claims the rear end and trans were both rebuilt less than 3k miles ago, if he can prove that, and the car is pretty clean, I am going to highly consider it.
