1400hp camaro?!

http://jalopnik.com/5594783/lunatic-...-up-to-1400-hp

Damn.... that's a lot of money to spend on a camaro, but you gotta admit the results look awesome! Personally I don't think I'd go that far on a car like that, but then again if I was a multi-millionaire and had cash to blow, maybe I would. What do you guys think?

that guy is doing what everyone else does, using his means to do what he wants to do to his vehicle.

i personally think it's pretty evil, no matter what it is. i wouldn't knock him if he had done that to a geo metro...mainly because that would've been hilarious! go you crazy man! viva la canada

hehe, look at the width of the rear tires. The article says he swapped out the independent suspension for a solid rear axle and he's using tubs in the back to fit huge tires. He can probably put full slicks under there to run on the track. I'm sure it will hook. He might need to add a wheelie bar though.

exactly. if you think about it dragsters use much more hp with wrinkle slicks and they hook just fine. the key is the tubbing and the solid rear.

that LSx 454 is a great setup. lots of people running LSx motors out there.

interesting how when you look through the mod list, you see all this extreme performance oriented gear and then at the bottom; a full stereo complete with 4 sub woofers.

Yeah wouldn't that be sweet to take that thing out for a night? Man it's bad to the bone but I just couldn't justify putting that much money into a Camaro. There is a lot of cars you could put half that money into and pull those kind of numbers. Don't get me wrong I would love to have it in my garage. Damn nice job!

ahh. but it doesn't take 50k to blow a v-8 to 2600+ hp.

i've actually seen nearly double the performance, but for only a fraction of the cost.

well, he didn't spend the whole 300k on the engine. There was a lot of other work done on it.
