Borla Cat Back exhaust (update)

Hey guys, a little update on the borla cat back that was for sale by reaper3240 I was the one who purchased it. Just wanted to post a little update

Before pics

After pics- wet sanded for about 3 hours with various grits. Have yet to polish her up with mothers mag aluminum polish, that will be tomorrows project. Now I have to decide whether I want the Res on or if I should just straight pipe it, thoughts anyone? Oh, also going to wait till all the dang snow in Wisconsin melts to put her on.

Looks better after the wet sanding. I don't think the polish is going to do much for it though. Might help the tips and that's about it. I'd leave the resonator on if it was me.

i've got the borla cat-back, but my tips look different.
anyways, i love the resonator. i put an electric cut-out after the resonator so i could run around with the loud volume (of no muffler) and sweet mellow tones.

when you install it, just hook up the first piece of the cat back and see how it sounds.
if you don't use the resonator and go straight to the muffler, i think that would be a mistake.

Looks a lot better, Keep the resonator on it... Trust me Borla is a top on the line company they designed it the way they did for a reason, if you remove it, its going to greatly alter the sound... You don't want to do that to a system that already sounds like pure sex!

UPDATE: a little over 3 and half years has gone by since I first installed this bad boy and she sounds better everyday. Unfortunately, my transmission went and I am giving up on her.

The Borla is up for sale. Shoot me a text and lets discuss details: 815-347-8957
