Well, I joined back in '99 right before we switched to the current style forum.
I've learned a lot from this board, lost a few family members, got married, went through three different cars, and switched Screen names. This is one board where I don't think I'll ever leave. It's part of my life now.

Started lurking here after I got my 99 GT. I learned a lot about my car and then some from the great info here. Great job by the maintainers of this site for keeping it orderly and coherent. I hope you get 10+ more years of this great community!

Wow - this thread really brings back the GAGT memories - meeting Seth to buy his SLP cat-back down in PA, swaping my manifolds for Pucci's TOG headers out in RI, swapping wheels with one of our Canadian brethern, getting 2005 calander car pictures, drag racing up in NH, autocrossing in NY and getting busted on the streets a few times. I started out here in '03 I believe, and it just went on and on from their. Bought the car in 2001, sold in '06, bought it back in '07, and put over 100k miles somewhere in there. Bought and sold countless items in the for sale forum. Posted the original "I want to make my V6 Grand Am Faster" FAQ now revised and still stickied in the performance forum. I still pop in time to time for the AAG section. This has always been, and always will be an awesome forum. I enjoy the time I spend over on LS1tech now, but this will always be me first thought when it comes to an auto-enthusiasts forum.

I still keep tabs here from time to time....it's been a long time.
I think I joined in late 2000 or 2001, and started infecting the board with Alero-speak (the horror!). Soon thereafter we all started to realize that both cars are built on the same platform and rolled down the same assembly line. Most of the rest is a blur.....I think I've been sniffing the burning brakes for too long. Although it's still fairly gratifying that people still ask for my advice on braking and suspension stuff. Nothing can replace the friends I've made here.
