looks like we got guys who also thought you needed a 13o dollar wiring harness just to swap your monsoon radio with a factory one

incase you havent realized this about a mono amp, go outside to your mono amp powering your subd and put the crossover to allow more of the higher frequency range to go through and tell me how pronounced the voices are in the subwoofer

most subs can safely put out higher ranges like that because otherwise how would hear people like barry white
![]() you guys need to stop over thinking things, your the same people that would have told me a a 57 dollar legacy icon amp cant put out its rated 500 watts rms and it would fry in a minute just trying, well i can put pictures online of one running now for almost a year thumping a pioneer premier competition dvc 4ohm 12 |

Nobody needs any specific part to wire a radio. but if you don't want it to look like some hacked up piece of **** you will buy necessary parts to make it work and look right.
The only reason that your getting vocals is because you changing the low frequency to high freguency. Now, go out to your car and turn off/disconnect all your high and mid-range speakers and you will hear vocals coming out of your subd without a crossover. |

you're also not using a CROSSOVER which filters out ranges that you don't want. it's called a SUBwoofer due to the fact that it is made for SUBSONIC frequencies.
WOOFERS are for LOW END MIDRANGE sound, aka Barry White. look, i will not have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. I hope you don't fry your amp, but once it happens, I told you so. night night boys, have fun playing with your cars!

This is car audio not computer electronics. Your degree should have nothing of sound frequencies. Its all about transformers rectifiers diodes relays etc. and if you did have a degree in compuer electronics why is it so difficult to figure something so simple as this as all electricity follows the same laws.

look im not gonna battle you guys over this ill just put proof up, because i have no light to no vocals coming out of my subs and they are hitting all the low frequencies. Also i believe if you search the internet you come up on the guys who tell you that the monsoon amp seperate all the frequencies to the right channels anyways. I my 6x9s are acting like 6x9s my 5 1/4s are acting like 5 1/4s my tweeters are acting like tweeters and my subs are acting like subs. My amp warms up to where it should be for powering subs and doesnt cut out or emit distortion. Once i give yall the proof yall can believe what u want...

I would bet that jordan111 and aggressiveam are the same person.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the monsoon amp run less then 8 gauge wire? That alone should tells us that there is no way in hell that it's powering 3 subs without them being seriously seriously underpowered. The only thing I can't figure out here is the motivation behind these posts. Why have 2 different accounts telling us about this. . . . Weird trick? this would be like me posting that I could power my entire house with a 20 amp alternator and a 60watt power inverter

I left my stereo playin for almost 3 hours to see if something would go wrong with the monsoon amp either heat wise or distortion wise and it passed the test today.
The amp stabilized on the warm to almost hot side and kept pounding the subs. ![]() |

Those subs are not being pushed, It may sound good *can not tell from the phone but I can tell your subs are not even moving.
A fully powered sub moves those look like they are not even on. |
