I use polishing compound on the windows for water spots, works fine for me.

I need some physical abrasiveness to get it out, I can't wait that long to get my buffer with my windows looking like that so I decided to get wool, plus its nice to have for detailing.

Foaming glass cleaner and 0000 steel wool is great on windows and chrome, and touching up tips. Ill post some photos when im on my computer later.

weather man called for rain all weekend so I didn't even bother to wash mine. but of course we didn't get a drop. so. . . . hopefully i'll be posting next weekend.

Steel wool worked wonders. BTW metal the "stains" on my windows is pretty much the same sht that I'm talking about what is on my paint, I just can only get it to come out on camera on my windows. Forgot to take after pics of the sides but now my windows looks clear, clean, and normal
Right side is before, left side is after, you can see how much lighter and cleaner it is on the left:  The sht that I'm talking about, looks like stains?

got bored @ work today so I made this sign, in honor of the chive who gave me the idea to make it at work
 its pretty damn hard to write backwards but I got it done after a couple of trys. also its hard to find a long enough smooth panel to take a pic like that. my first thought was of the hood, but with the sign pointing down, there wasn't enough light on the sign to read it. if you cant tell what the 3 bottles are, its my Megs 3 step system. Megs 80, 82, and 83. it works very well, and sleepy can attest. not too bad for a car that hasn't been washed in 10 days, that's 12 years old cant wait to take some pics if its even done raining here. its rained the past 3 days on and off, and the weather forecast is rain until Monday.
