here we just call them a duster

but those can be bad as they trap the dust/dirt within then your dragging it around the paint

I use Meguiar's Quick detailer, I use that sht religiously now, I swear it has a little wax because it makes the water bead better, its to remove light dust/pollen n sht without scratching your paint and makes your cars color vibrant. Quick Wax isn't supposed to be used for the same purpose(removing light dust) it would be what you use AFTER the QD.

And I've heard horrid stories of the "Cali duster" if not used how its actually supposed to be used on the car. I'll look into those though, should make QDing alot easier.

I'm a whore for the Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detail spray. There's no wax in it, it's a cleaner/gloss that prolongs the life of the wax on the paint. Clean the car with it a lot and you could leave the car unwashed for months and it'll bead like crazy still.

Nathan, you must be doing it wrong because detail spray did wonders keeping my GA tidy.

Has an orange tint to it so you wouldn't just be able to spray a car with it. I heard that somewhere.

I swear if they made their stuff into a wax they'd make millions. But then again it would get boring because you have no time to "bond" with your car and show it love because nothing would get it dirty.

i did it the right way with megiores quick detailer, i just dont think it likes black vehicles. so as my quick detailer.. i use there quick wax, also in spray form. and THAT does wonders, its what i use almost everyday, asside from actual wax. thats how i keep my car so shiny.

as for the duster, i bought one from target, not the cali duster, works great. all cleaning products are left in the trunk for if i need at any time. wax, quick wax, duster, towels, etc.

Yes i love that stuff and that Cali duster is a Must have for Blk cars. All other spray detailers ive used just dont work right on black. It always leaves Smear's and that aint hot.com.

My GT as of 2 hrs ago.

The trick to using detail spray on black paint is using multiple rags.

I always would use one for the cleaning/detail spray and a fresh one wipe away the streaks left by the saturated rag used with detail spray.

I NEVER had streaks with my method.

BINGO.. multiple rags myself and never had a problem with streaks. think i had like a half a dozen rags going around the whole car.

if your using the same rag on the whole car it will eventually become wet and thus you will end up with streaks.
