You'll do fine with 470 ohms from radio shack if u use the leds from case-mod.

ice man u gotta help me out here... I know how to use the calculator, it's really easy. However what do I want my desired current to be? With the specs I have it does not say the max current. It says reverse current. Is that the same as direct current? or MA? I put down 10 and i get 1020 ohms, if I put down 15 I get 680 ohms... There is quite a difference.

Well, since you didn't buy the ones I bought I can't really help. But from what I've seen, the general current seems to be 20mA

yea u shoulda.........i bought like 20 led bulbs from superbrightleds.com and like 8 more bulbs on the way....i put all-leds in my interior (blue) and its bright as hell.....i can swear u can even read in there.........very sweet.......I didnt liked the blue 4-led bulb in the liscense plate tho......first of all, cuz pigs.....i mean cops dont like me w/ blue, 2nd, its not bright at all w/ blue leds.......i can barely read the plate # in the dark standing right behind it...... if u do want a led back there, i suggest u get the single-led.....its brighter.....or if u wanna be fancy, go w/ the Jamstraits HYPER color leds.....

I went with the Jamstrait white led for the license plate. It lights the area pretty good. It gives off a light blue/purplish look. Hard to see it though when there are street lamps on. It's gotta be quite dark.

if anyone gets a chance to read this... I want to give props to all that accomplished this task, because it is darn hard. I can't get mine to work. Just can't do it.

Edit- I actually know that I have the right resistors because I get them to light up... I just cant figure out what teh easies way to get the bulbs in there, You have to use the darn led with the resistor... then take it and somehow get it in that smalllll piece... it's darn impossible... SOMEONE make a how to please... seth!?
