I think not having headers might be part of the probelm. You probably aren't flowing out as much as you need to be with the stock manifolds. As a matter of fact this is why I plan on getting the exhaust cut out because I don't want the 2.5" pipe on the Borla restricting power too much when I want it.

Craig, look at it this way. You have very similar numbers to all the other P&P guys, yet still don't have headers. Good job. I let your se stomp my gt, would that make you feel better? Or how about my gf's firebird?

Or take a ride next to the Z after the initial 1200mi Would be fun

How's your fuel delivery? I didn't see any mods for this. Did you have a reprogram done yet to change the tables?

I was thinking of re-doing the exhaust between head and cat-back before GAP just to run some good times at the track. But, since none of that stuff can be re-used for the turbo, I'd be wasting my money. I definitely do not have a fuel problem! If anything, it is getting too much fuel! The A/F meter is pegged on rich during the entire dyno pull. I am considering the DHP computer and then selling my ASE as a complete unit.

As for the turbo, the latest changes are:
- no fancy, expensive headers
- no custom computer program
- manual boost controller
- extra fuel care of extra injectors

All of these changes will let me finish the turbo in a few days WITH dyno tuning! Now it is a matter of money as to how soon I can finish it.

BTW, does anyone know where I can get my hands on a stock Supra Mk3 intercooler?

You're kidding ... right? GOOD LUCK finding ANY Supra in a junkyard ANYWHERE! Those things are worth gold dead or alive! There are a few on car-part, but they are $200 and up. For that I could buy a used Spearco unit for the same car! I'm hoping to find one someone swapped out when they upgraded.

, all I saw was like 5-6 in the whole US and I was just making a suggestion. I would jump over on the supra forums and ask over there. And please dont tell me your are going to cut into the x-over and block off the downpipe to make the turbo work.

Yes I am! What is the point of a custom tubular manifold on a turbo anyway? The ONLY way it works properly is if it can sequentialy deliver cylinders pressure pulses to the turbine. Since it runs off of both head banks, it will never see a drop in pressure, so a log-style is all that is needed. And why make a larger log from tubing since that will only reduce velocity causing slower spool-up and increase underhood temps.

Upper and Lower IM + TB

I am making an appointment with RSM this week and wanted to know what type of results I might have from the Upper and Lower Intake Manifold matched to a 62mm TB (61.7) without head work.

I have the S&S Headers w/ 2.5" Flex/Downpipe, MagnaFlow CAT, SLP Cat-Back, APOC CAI w/ K&N, PRO-M MAF, Adj. FPR, etc.

Is 10 hp Possible?
