I would go with under the seats and more towards the rear of the seat if possible. I havn't actually checked under there to see if there is a place to mount them.

a good alternative to neon with much less cost and way less headache is goin to your local Walmart, Kamrt whatever u have . I went to Canadian Tire, and Zellers.. Just buy the replacement bulbs for Moonray lights.. You know those little lights you see on peoples driveways and walkways. They are only like 5 bucks for 4 of them. hey are about twice the size of the factory interior floor lights and way brighter. I pur in red and it lights up the floor as much or more than that pic with the green neon. They come in red, green, blue, purple and orange colors...

and also where did you mount the ones in the footwells?

Ill let u know how the neons are when I get em either friday or saturday, I don't see how there can be such a thing as a bad neon, unless it leaks
I am not sure if you are asking me but I will say that My neons haven't really given me any troubles due to a lot of use. They are not on all the time but whenever I turn them on or have the trunk open they are on. As for if they do go out, I just take them to the local stereo shop and swap them for a new one since they are Street Glow and have a lifetime warrenty. As for the mounting I just found a good spot were the tube would be hidden and wouldn't be in the way of my feet. I can take some day pics of them mounted if you'd like.

normally i would also agree with you about leds, but not in this case. I get leds for free from my dad's work, but the problem with them is that they have "hot spots" and dont spread out much. You can sand them, but then they put out less light. The neons on the other hand, give a very even, nice glow that lights the whole foot well area. The leds I put in my vents worked very well though.

Well, the neons came yesterday, and i got them in and wired. They are AWESOME. They light up the foot well all the way to the seats, and you can't see the bulb without getting down and looking for them. I will have pics of my car and the neons up tonight.

That looks awesome man. After i saw how you mounted yours on the passenger side and i talked to shawn2ktats, i hid my passenger side. Mine looks just like yours. Aren't red tubes great? Another thing you should look into is clearing your A/C knobs. It looks really good with the neons, trust me.

I already tryed it, and it was horrible, i ended up having to buy a new knob. Plus for some reason, the plastic on mine is a brownish red ugly color. If anything, im gonna paint them gloss black to match my interior. O well, thank you for the compliments, i love them to death!! and the place I mounted them is perfect.
