Not really, as long as you know you can get to it. I used the grommet to the right in your picture.

Thanks for the help guys. But I gave up and put it back the way I had it. It was irritating trying to fight with my car... Some times I just pick and choose my battles with her. Lol

It's a better bet to have it running through the firewall than through the fender. The easiest way IMO is to run it through the grommet on the inside and fish it up using a bent coat hanger.
