Yea although I still dont think its really a problem (and it sounds like you dont either since you drive with them on too), that sounds like a pretty reasonable guess to me.

In NH I beleive the law is that you can have 1 set of auxiliary lights no more than 25 in. off the ground and the only time they can't be on is when the high beams are on....
Back to my original question..... I have tried the mod to make the fog lights stay on when you turn on your high beams, as listed on http://www.n-body.net/tech/techdisplay.php?id=6 but..... I can't find the parking lights wire and I can't figure out which wire is the back of the fog light fuse on the fuse block.... Can anyone help??? |

There is another way posted how to do this, check how-to section. Might be easier for you.

All I need to know is where to find the parking light wire so I can splice it to give the fog lights power when I turn the lights on. I have figured out the rest off it, and am kind of stumped on that. I just got this car about a month ago and am still learning it. I used to have a '90 Chevy Beretta GT that I had for 7 years and an '85 Dodge Ramcharger. I could tell you how to do pretty much anything on those, so any help on this would be sweet...

Its a brown wire in the harness at the top of your steering column...there are 3 screws that hold the shroud together, then the top part just snaps off....try to avoid taking the bottom half off...I broke my tilt lever twice doing that.
Before you splice anything, do a search on here for wiring diagrams....there are some posts with these listed, and you can verify the wire color there. Another place to look is on www.the12volt.com if you are doing any minor wiring in your car and need a reference.
