Certainly doesn't look much like the Cobalt model in this pic:

It has a similar headlight design as the '04 Malibu. It looks too large to be a Cavi.

that also looks like a coupe in that background of that pic in the link... coupe and sedan could have different looks to them (like what Chrysler does) ...but the one closest where you can only see part of the front looks to have similar headlights... who knows.. .i'm just gonna wait to see the official release photos...

I agree.

First of all it seems to small to me.

Secondly, if you look at the grill you can almost see behind the black bra a "oval" shaped grill ( smilar to the front ends on the Buicks, like the Rendevous) Possibly a Century replacement? Or maybee even some sort of Saturn. If you look at the pic from the rear you will see a red 2 dr ION on the left and it looks like an older SL2 on the right.....just thought it was weird that there were 2 other Saturns that close.

The rear looks nothing like a Pontiac, it seems like this late in development there would be something that would give it away as a Pontiac, and I am not seeing it.

thats my 2 cents worth.

They are GM cars. Doesn't mean a thing. It looks too much like the G6 to be anything but the grand am replacement.

Well I was just saying it is a possibility, as you....I am going to wait for a offical announcement.

BUT! if it is a G6 at least they figured out that the off center XM antenna looked stupid and decided to center it in the rear.

ive looked over the spy pic and the G6 concept pics and they spy pic is pretty true to the G6 concept, except for a couple of things it not as round and it doesnt have as big of rims other then that they are both pretty much the same, a little too mcuh if u ask me its weird how u can flip the g6 concept pic and itll perfectly match up with the grand am spy pic as if gm took the pic and what not since they always use the same angle on all the pics just a little food for thought and ill have my chip up later today

Compared to some of the new ugly cars everyone is barfing out, this one doesn't look half bad. Not too shabby at all. Perhaps it will grow on me like the new GP did.

It appears as though my current GA will be the LAST GA I own. Much a pitty, that G6 Concept was SWEET! Blasted idiots at GM.

The recent chop job is really good, but the actual car itself in the chop is still very nasty.

maybe if you take that chop and stick the rims on there it might make a difference in the appearance.

here is the concept for the alero now does it look exactly like that? no but it does have hints of it thats what concept cars are for, rarely do companies copy the exact same thing they did for the concept well atleast GM doesnt, and the G6 looks alot like that and that is 6yrs old.. so go figure
