Question another supercharger kit

anyone interested in another supercharger kit?
I'm playing with soem things now.
to kits actually.
one for street/daily driver and one for all out performance.
both kits would use a Sc not currently available for our car.

kits would include a computer tune as well.
I'm nto goign to reveal much except to those I trust untill the kit is out.
just curious who would be interested.
cost would be 4,000 or less for the street kit.
and arround 6,000-7,000 for the all out kit.

Damn.....what type of S/C are you running in the kit? Roots? Centrifugal?

Intercooler possible?

BOV/bypass valve, wastegate possible?

How much boost are you planning on running?

Can one get a dyno tune?

This would be amazing to have a new kit out!!! Forced induction is going to be the savior for our motors.

I cant tell the type yet...
an intercooler will be in the more expinsive kit.
it will have a bypass valve or a blow off valve.
the street kit will be 6-8 psi and the all out kit will be arround 10
but capable of 15 or more on a built engine.
not sure about the dyno tune but it could prolly be worked out for a little bit extra. the tune will be set up for some other bolt ons as well. this way the kit will work with headers and some other mods.

Count me in! As long as it would fit with headers.

a good idea would be to have it upgradeable.
Because I know right now I would want the street kit, and down the road get the performance kit...

It will be intresting to see how many people actually follow through with buying it if aleroboy gets it out there

We all remember the E/M SC and how everyone said they would/wanted to buy that.

Type of SC will be centrifugal.

I agree Bob. That's why I'm not really saying yes or no. Of course I'd love to, but who wouldn't?

I would be in on two conditions. First like somebody said the street kit needs to be upgradeable and must have some good engine management associated with it. All of these companies make boost kits but no tuning programs to optimize the boost

It will depend on when it actually comes out and what I manage to pull off over the winter. if you keep that price under $4000, I'd be willing to bet they sell well (as far as SCs go). Especially after GAP with everyone seeing Spaz and Aaron square off, the idea of boost is still fresh in everone's mind.

We all remember the E/M SC and how everyone said they would/wanted to buy that.

Ditto for DHP. I asked Charles a couple weeks ago if they were selling as well as he'd hoped. he said he could count them with both hands. And I remember hearing everyone saying they were getting that, too.

Therefor, I wouldn't be willing to commit to anything just yet.

True..true..very interesting info you provide Kubi, good scoop. I'd imagine the curiousity we are all having of it actually hurting our cars performance won't make things any better.

well the way this would be produced would be very low cost for me and also for personal benefit.
I'd be able to trun a profit even selling low numbers.
5 kits would prolly be made to begin with to test the market.

its not a centrifigual SC either.
I hate how they take to come on boost.
I wont post on the boards exactly what it is till I have a kit made or in production.
I'll also be looking at dhp and some others for the tune.
the kit will be upgradeable.
in fact the difference will be basicly be the accessories.
however buying one and upgradeing to the other will cost more than buying the all out model first thing.

larger Tb, injectors, intercooler, different pullies, and computer tune are all things being considered.
