SikMindz has made plenty of valid pointsSikMindz has made plenty of valid points
Sounds good...any hints?

And then now that you started ordering parts what's the final ETA on the project?

Switching to a larger sc will take more power to drive it...right? How much hp does the m62 draw and how does that compare to an m90 or equiv. Thanks.

the sc I'm using is more effecient so the extra drive power will be minimal
also because I dont have to spin it as fast to produce the power I want it could actually be less draw.
unfortunately the info on this SC is not very clear and I doubt I'll do my own testing to see what it does and draws.

the unit I'm using is a touch larger than an M90 and should have no trouble getting me to 400 hp with almost the same boost I had before

will this sit in amanner that someone will be able to keep there hood as is? If the M90 was used there is good inclination that it would hit the hood and a cowl would have to be made.

It's not the M90, it's a supercharger by a different manufacturer that is a little bigger than the M90.

And no need for a new hood or what not, hood clearance will be similar to that of the M62.

I know it's not the M90! But he said it is a tad larger than the M90, that's why I asked.

the displacemnt is larger than an M90 but physical size is about the same if not alittle smaller
its an inch wider than the 62 so it will have to be dropped about a half inch down to maintain the same height of the 62.
since I'm building all my own mounts, inlet, and outlet this will not be a problem.
it will fit under the hood, but the battery may have to go to the trunk.
