Maybe I'm bein totally unrealistic here, but why can't we get one hood made OEM style, and anther made with Scoops/Extractors/etc.... Maybe one of these guys could make it one style and the other makes it a different style. I for one wouldn't pay a dime for a hood that looks exactly like the one I have now, I don't care what it's made out of. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that has this opinion either. Just seems to me that if you made two different styles you'd get a ton more sales than if you just made one or the other. Again, I could be out of line here, but just thought I'd toss that idea out. Later.

...i would never waste my money on a cf hood that looked like it had ram air, heat extractors? i could deal with cause they DO something, no scoops or vents... its a hood to REDUCE WEIGHT, if you want one for looks get a sd hood

Why can't you have a hood that looks good AND reduces weight? My SD hood looks good and is lighter than stock. The only reason I want carbon fiber is to get it even lighter. I don't ever want to have a stock looking hood again though. What's the point?

carbon fiber hoods look cool! That's why I like them, they also have the added benefit of being light weight. That's just my opinion though...

well i definately am in... i wont have the money til the end of next month, but i also would never pay $500-$600 to make my car look exactly the same, i dont care THAT much about weight, i mean, if i had a completely rebuilt engine, boosted, and i was in the last stages of taking .001 seconds off my ET then i would care, but i want my car too look good mainly. and i also want CF, plus it would be cheaper than the other aftermarket hoods we can get..

SD RAM AIR HERE!!!

ya know what? once he gives an okay for it... and once someone let's him have their hood for an oem one.. than i'm throwing my money in... just like that.. if you're not down w/ the hardcore than well you're not.. oh well sorry.. I want this more than anybody.. I don't have a perfect hood to send.. I have a ****ed up hood. cheapest quote is $300 to repair it... if i can get a whole new hood for a couple 100 more no big deal ... i'd prefer it that way anyway..

I don't want my car to look like a sleeper. I like how it looks now. One added benefit, a lot of the local import guys (especially honduh's) goof on my car because it's a GA and it looks fast (they think I'm blowing smoke), but I get to laugh at them when I smoke 'em with my SC. It antagonizes the hell out of 'em and they hate it 'cause most of them can't beat me .

Hey spy, I'll send him my perfect OEM hood as soon as someone buys me a new CF hood to replace it (he he/jk).

A few people have suggested SS style hoods, but I don't think that would look right. It doesn't follow the body lines of the car the way the SC/T and SD hoods do. Just my opinion though.
