cuz I'm going to try to take out a loan for like $1500 so I can get some things sorted out, which means a hood.

Spy, a hood with hinges like in the link.

I found a place that with hinges is much cheaper than custom cargrills shipped, but they are not for sure yet. I talked to a project manager and I might front them the $$ to make 5 to 10 hoods and then recoup my costs at a later date. Their rep is unmatched.

The big thing is their workload right now is low so they have time to start a new project at the drop of a hat.

well, what did everybody expect? Both Sparks and I were both offering a CF hood a couple weeks back. Sparks, I don't know how many orders you got, but I got a whopping 2 people who commited to the order. Only 2!! Needless to say, 2 isn't 10 and the deal fell through.

Yeah, as far as GAGT hoods I no one committed. SpyhunteR
is my most interested party as he has perused this from the beginning. Others have expressed a lot of interest and no one has got the money yet.

I'm open to this and from an opportunity standpoint this should really be taken advantage of by someone. As John or anyone else knows that has dealed w/ me... I drop everything to do something. On the other hand... if I'm not doing anything... I'm not paying the bills and I have to move on. Right now, I'm not paying the bills so I might have to move on soon if nothing pans out.

Hopefully someone will come through soon but I wont make a mold or a part until that happens.

alright... since nothings going on here.. for a couple weeks.. I just have $900 at the end of the week.. and well since nothing happened here I'm finishing the purchases on my Turbo project.. I'm sending out a check for $650 on Friday to PICracing as one final payment for goods....

So I'll be short for cash for a month.. Sorry this AGAIN has not happened...

All the info I get from people is bland... Nobody tries.. I don't have a hood to offer up because of soccer moms and their wonderful parking jobs... If anybody gets a hood made call me up in 3-4 weeks from now, I'll definately have a check in your box 3 days later..

Should we start a new thread?... It is possible that the dead horse has been beat a few too many times I think.

As far as your hood... sure Ill take a dented hood... only if you want a dented looking carbon fiber hood in return. I have a SE hood kinda lined up right now. It may fall through and I might have to get a more expensive one but right now there is a SE hood for like $150 out there that is in good condition. It's the price of shipping a hood back and forth, and I don’t have to worry about f'ing it up or anything. I can also resell it later also, it is just win, win, win for me.

Right now I am taking a ton of financial hits. Otherwise I would at least do the mold. I lost hard on the Alero, plus rent, parts, and everything else just sux.

Also, totally unrelated... my pimped out Satty had a problem w/ its power wire in the inside fuse block for a year+. Well it finally got to the point where it started to REALLY spark and MEALTED my inside fuse block/panel. I bought all the fuse block tools from snap-on and spent 3-4 hours tearing it apart. Saturn has the block there and I get to blow $250 on it and an afternoon in the SNOW/RAIN fixing it. I have had so many defect from the damn factory that it just ****ES me off. I love the car, but damn... this is just nuts. BTW, this poorly crimped wire from the factory goes to everything w/ my tranny, fuel, and inside electrical system.

Ok... back to hoods... my bad...

I don't have the cashola for a hood right now but I want one soon
you can still use the hood though

Well... I guess when the time comes that would be great but I hope you realize that:

I will need the hood for 3-4 days
I would need access to it at the drop of a hat
I cannot guarantee its condition in return

"Usually" it comes back fine... but not always. Sometimes the clearcoat spiders and you would have to get it repainted.

I can get it there on about a days notice
I don't care about the paint on it
