The monster is finally built! the secret is over!

Well, for all of you guys that know me, I did have something up my sleeve for the longest time. I didn't want to mention anything at first cus I didn't want to seem "all talk". I built my whole motor from top to bottom. This motor was built, designed, and blue printed by RSM Racing. We had a couple delays on shipments, that is why I missed GAP'03. This motor contains JE Custom Pistons, Corrillo rods (RSM Exclusive), Manley Stainless Steel Valves (RSM Exclusive), Crank Shaft is Forged, Nitrated, and Mellinated. Copperhead head gaskets, ARP Studs, RSM Torque Converter, RSM Full Race-Spec Heads, RSM TB, RSM Intake, New balanced Fly Wheel. Since my whole car was under surgery, I also got them to install the RSM Bushing Kit. Wow! I don't have any dyno numbers yet since I am waiting for this motor to break in. Congrats.... how does it drive. I have a couple of questions...What is mellinated? You still have the stock crank correct? Did you bore the block any? And on your heads did you change the valve springs/retainers? Did you change the compression on your pistons? Do you have headers...if not...thats your biggest constriction. Keep us updated...

Thanks guys. Sorry for the Geocities nonsense. For the first 500km, the motor was really stiff and needed lots of break in time. Now the motor is a lot more loose. I have to get used to the new torque converter settings as well. You can feel the differance in stall. My crank is not stock, fully bullet proof. Mellinated I believe was either for heat resistents and wear proof. The block has been bored out. Compression has changed. As for my heads, they bores are "shrouted". The air exits my heads in a "vortex" flow. I've always done business with RSM. I went in there in January to bring up the idea of me getting this motor built. I told him my budjet, and what I wanted this motor for...........High boost and more NOS! I left a deposit. RSM did everything from there, "sonic testing" the block, motor design and figuring what sizes are going to be for what. Within weeks, everything started to come in. The big delay was for the rods. 8 weeks min. My head gaskets also took a very long time. (wrong gaskets were sent to us, that is why I missed GAP '03.). The motor maybe took about 4 weeks of building. Everything else was just order time and waiting for products. I need to get good headers. Soon.
