Hehe Thanks guys. RSM is willing to build any kind of motor for anyone that wants one built. They are built good! They only supply the best! I will also be honest folks, my motor was not bulit to become an "all motor" champion. My motor is intended to handle High Boost, and NOS. In otherwords, this motor is bulletproof. The only part in that Long Block that is going to give me anything are the RSM Race-Spec Heads. Everything else is just for strength. IF there are anyone in Toronto and the GTA, lemme know if you guys want to see it, we could meet.

I don't speak computer, what's that mean?

Anyway, good work on that motor babalouie. With it built to that extent I hope you plan on a turbo setup. A supercharger won't provide the type of boost that engine should be able to handle. With a well sized turbo and intercooler you wouldn't even need NOS. And you'll probably need to re-work the tranny anyway. We really need raybestos to come thru with those clutch packs and bands. Electronics and fuel system upgrades will be next of course (some of us are working on that now ). If the right parts become available you could be on your way to a 12sec GA.

I'd like to know how much this cost too. Did you rob a bank or something? j/k

Well, gotta take it day by day. As of today, I now have 1500km on the new motor. Still breaking it in. In terms of the money, i kinda wanna keep that too myself. No offence to anyone I don't mean that in a rude or mean way. I'll tell ya this much, it was a lot more than $500!!! less than 100,000. But it is worth every dollar of it.

Not sure if you did this or not but if you look into a shorter forged piston, reducing the weight and adds strength allowing you to rev higher...also did you do any work to the cam and valvetrain

I do have a shorter forged piston. For now, I left the stock cam. I am happy with the numbers. I was told by Crane that too much of a lift (lumpy cam) will result in a vacum issue. I will be out of town this week, so I will show all the grandsontario guys the stuff next week.

If I'm not mistaken, I got them by fluke from some no name store in some mall in my area.
