Yes you are wrong by pitting sports cars against family sedans. You would have to put the Camaro, Trans Am and Corvette against Ford's whimpy Mustangs. Then you would have to put Ford's pathetic Taurus against the Grand Prix's.

An automatic FWD family sedan should be compared with a RWD V8 supercharged 5-speed sports car?... OK sure since it's Ford with the sports car... that's considered a handicap right there... so OK you are right.

Like I said.. I don't care if you like Ford. I don't hate you for buying Ford etc... It's just business, and nothing you can say will convince me that Ford is somthing worthy my hard earned money. End of story.

jagey-dont you think the grand am angers customers?
Now i admit the mustang isnt perfect but jsut read some of the posts on this forum how the problems people are having with their grand ams

ATTENTION: the grand am is NOT perfect either

a high amount of females also drive a grand am, does that mean anything? NO, its all about preference and affordablility

How the hell can a brand new v6 grand am cost the same as a brand new V8 mustang, have you ever thought about that?
Also look at resale value, its not even close

No one's head gaskets on their Grand Am's pop frequently like most all the Ford 3.8's do.

No.. GM cars are not perfect, but the problems they have are easier dealt with than Fords. It's true.

I think the grand am angers customers too, I am one of those very angry customers. I know what kind of people buy this car too, that is part of the reason i dislike it now as well. The guy called me out, he wanted me to proove my facts with numbers. He tried to say that Ford had some decent built quality, i proved it was trash. He tried to claim that lots of girls don't drive v6's, prooved that horribly wrong, and apparantly 92 percent of V8's have male owners, proved that wrong as well. I did what I had to do and that is that.

GM cares more about us and wants our cars to be fixed.

KEEP TRYING! I only spent 4 minutes looking for info and I already found that much stuff bashing Ford. The JD. Powers survey was even praising GM man. I am not about to waste any more of my time prooving an obvious point. One day when I have free time, I'll write you an essay on the topic if you like.

My Grand Am was a bit of a lemon... however it was nothing serious. I guess I was just angry since it was a brand new expensive car and it had problems of any kind. I had an alternator go bad and the drivers side door leaked a little water on me once during a heavy snow storm. All the 2 problems were fixed.

I'll buy another GM car and feel confident doing so, I have owned quite a few Fords and GM cars in my short lifetime and with me GM has a great record.

This comment is such a mis-conception. Chevy and GMC sales are always tracked separately. Why? I don't know.

If you combine Chevy and GMCs trucks sales they surpass the F-150 sales. Sooo, GM as a company sells more trucks than Ford as a company... And they last longer too.

sc/t and jagey
already owned a mustang and loved it
Also there is a saleen sitting in the garage
Now if you think your little "girlie and rustang" comments get to me or any other mustang owner they dont, everyone has their own opinion.

I owned my grand am for 2 years, i loved the looks, but i hate the car and i will never own one again

Now if you want to compare the saleen to your 2 little grand am's then i would love to
if mommy or daddy has something faster or better then i could care less, its all about what YOU have

I can go on all day comparing the mustang to the grand am, but its not worth it because you will always try to dig up more and more sh!t about how bad it is, well sorry to burst your bubbles but the grand am doesnt even compare

The stat I pulled fr V8 owners is apparently taken from a different poll.

So some of you like to look up female % for the V6 Mustang. Here's an idea, look up female drivers for Grand AMs.

To the comment about "Rustangs" again proves you know little about Mustangs. Can you tell me what STAINLESS STEEL is?

As for me crying? Going to take more than that. When I close this window, enter the real world and start up my car I hear 8 cylinders warming up. The day I will be crying is the day I'm sporting a Grand AM around town. And yes that is a FACT.

The comment about the Grand AM looking better than a Mustang...merely opinion, but I think you stand alone when saying that.

Like I said before. I PERSONALLY havn't had one issue with the blue oval. Once again, if you had an issue...sorry. My mom drives a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI, that car has been in the shop more times in 6 months than mine has ever been in the shop. We had a Pontiac Montana van, the transmission blew on that... Any way you wanna cut it, reguardless the brand- cars will always be a money pit.

That's not completley ture.

If you combine GMC Sierra and Chevrolet's Siverado's truck sales (the same truck) vs. F150... Ford can't compete.
