"American Tuner"

I thought that you all would like to see the production version of the "American Tuner" by RK Sport that should be released in about a month or so.

How did I get these pic's? That is my car. See you at SEMA.

That's awsome! I heard it is the same kit as on the Grand Am
Hotwheels car. How much is the kit?

I just got off of the phone with Cyrus over at RK. He said they are pre selling them right now and that a four door kit is being made also to be out about 2 months after the 2 door.

Impact bar showing has to be modified but that's something that can be done after purchase by the owner too

Hot kit, nice to see new options. The front is definitely a winner. Althought I do prefer the smaller GT front openings over the larger ones..

edit.. hotlinked the pics

i know this is probably the ghetto way out but couldnt you just paint it flat black. Flat so the light doesnt hit it and shine back.

How would you modify the impact bar? cut part of it out? Just curious

love the side skirts and rear, the front I think it needs to have like another underlip or something so it can make the car look lower.

Pre selling going on now

Just off the phone with RK Sport. To answer some of the questions posed on earlier posts.

The whole kit is not finished yet. They are still tweaking the "look" of some of the parts.

What you currently see on my car is virtualy foam and clay. That is not even close to the finished product.

They are pre selling the kits only up until the molds are finished.
The pre sell price is $700. It will retail for $1000. The four door is to be a little higher. Anyone with a four door that lives in the So-Cal area is encouraged to call if you can leave your car with them for 3 weeks to have the skirts for it done. If interested give them a call. 800-214-8030.

I will post more picts as they allow me to take them.
