As for the engine what are you taling about 3.5L? And are you sure you threw a rod? I'd be sure before I started looking for a new engine.

Update on 4-door RK kit. I called and talked to Mike this morning. He said that they are having a problem with some of the door panels not fitting properly and they don't want to start shipping until they get the problem worked out. He said it could be as long as a month, but for me to keep checking back, if could change.

Here is what they said to me...
Adam, We are still a few weeks out on the kit. The front and rear are done. The side lower is real close to being finished and the molds are being finalized for the door panels. Thanks, |

Another month !!!!!!!! goodness i understand wanting to fix thing's that are wrong with a product your making ,but the way i look at it they have had plenty of time to do that. It's like thair only spending an hr on it each day........ Well atleast it's worth the wait. espicaly to get it at a cheaper price. Im not really mad i just think it should be done by now.

I was supposed to have mine in by the April 10th ImportLifeTour.com event. Yet they pushed it back so it will not be done on time. |

You guys have to remember, they did the 2dr kit first. And that was pushed back quite a bit too. For the 4dr they needed to find another car for fitting, then they had to make, test, and perfect 6 new molds for that car. This really shouldn't be unexpected.

Well, I am not mad at the time it will take to get to me. I am mad at the fact that they told me it would be done in plenty of time for my event. Now they think it will not be done on time for the event. I would rather they tell me the truth then try to please me with a date that is inconsistent with the fact.

I can understand that some of you are upset with not having your kits before "X" show or date. But as stated above they will not produce "crap". If you only knew how long it takes to make a mold and then lay up the one part only to find out it's a 16th of an inch off here or there and then have to re-do the mold, then lay up a new part, let it cure and start over fitting it up. It takes days not hours to do. Be patient with them as they are also doing three other cars as this is being posted. The new GTO, and two others that I cannot mention.
I can tell you it will look just as sweet as the two door! RC PS. How are you trying to get a hold of them? I can reach anyone at anytime unless they are out of the office. (???) |

Exactly, I never had a problem getting a hold of my sales guy.
Trust me, when you guys get your kits you'll be impressed with the quality. It'll be well worth the wait. ![]()
