Product Review Forum

I think we should add this. I think many repetitive posts and searches could be avoided. I like the format they have on AleroMod. It's a simple, yet comprehensive way to cover the products. Maybe something like this:

Title of the thread would be the product.

My Mechanical Skills: Beginner/Moderate/Expert
Price Paid: $$$
Purchased From: blahblah.com
Installation Time: 10 hours, because I'm stupid
Installation Difficulty: (Out of 5)
1-Easy
2-Some Skills or Tools Needed
3-Moderate, read instructions carefully
4-Take your time or you will mess it up
5-You can't install this.. don't try

Installation Cost: (if not self-installed)

How long has product been installed:
What do you like about it:
What do you dislike about it:
Would you buy it again:

Overall Rating: (Out of 10)
1 - this sucks
5 - it's fine..no problems, but nothing to get excited about
10 - this is the answer to all life's problems

Maybe if there's some way to have a form.. that way all the posts have the same structure and people don't have to copy/paste a template

I agree...could help solve such age-old questions as "is a ported LIM worth it?" et al...I'd say put it up.

we do that on aleromod.. Works good. everyone copies another (Or the original template thread) and pastes it to their. If they don't do it right, it gets deleted.. Thanks, try again.

It would certainly cut down on the "How do you like SLP" threads. I agree a form would be a good idea.

Yeah didn't we try that with the Tire database? Unfortunately people are frickin retarded and can't comprehend how to read/follow directions. That, and the mods aren't much help when it comes to fixing that crap.
