Goofing off, and now stuff stopped working. Please Help!!

Ok I was doing stupid power slides in the rainy parking lot ( just pulling my e-brake) and now my stereo doesn't work, it just is on but no sound, the display reads BOSE when you turn it on, and my keyless entry won't work, other than that nothing else. Tried to take the neg. battery terminal off and left it off for about 30 seconds and the stupid thing still isn't fixed. Any ideas??

You've got the Monsoon head unit and when you turn it on it reads BOSE?

You sure you didn't get a concussion goofing off and came home in the wrong car?

ROFL!! Yeah, pulling the ebrake shouldnt have done anything. Im laughing so hard over your car saying BOSE though. AMP fuse burn out? Keyless, yeah, check the battery in that and the fuse too. You didnt happen to T-bone a curb like a few friends of mine did in their own cars did you? Those lamposts and mailboxes arent too forgiving

My head unit has said "BOSE" on it quite a few times. I took it into the delaership to have them fix it and they ended up putting a new one in. I asked them why it said BOSE, they looked up the build code for the car and said something about a BOSE premium stereo system in the car. I thought they were full of it, so I called a diff dealership and gave them the vin number to a different gagt, and they told me the same thing. So, somewhere along the way, BOSE must be involved with monsoon.

i had that problem, its the amp. when mine wouldnt play any sound, i brought it to teh dealer, when they fixed it, the second time!, the realized that when it was wired the wires were shafing and causing theamp to become grounded thus blowing it. so 2 amps later no more problems.
