Yup the act of god clause (sp) sucks when it is against you! Right now I'm trying to get a Saturn from a co-worker so I can pull the engine out of my Ls 3100 and swap to a 3400sfi and then I will put the pulley on! I hope they got me the right belt! Then I will have to put CAI with a 62mm TB in it and custom side out exhaust from a guy on mymonte.com. Then I want to put scopes on my hood but real one none of that fake crap! I can't wait till spring when I will really get in to modding my vehicle!

Unhappy Update From FFP

I'm sure everybody got this update from FFP, if not I'm sure you'll get it soon. I'm a little bit disappointed though, slight delay to the shipping.

Just an update…

I think all the payments have come in by now, but a couple of people forgot to sign the money orders, so they are on their way back to them to be signed. When I get the money orders back and deposited, I will ship out all the pulleys. We did meet the minimum number for the group buy, so no problems there. I just need to make sure ALL the payments clear before I go sending the pulleys out. I should have those money orders back by the end of the week and I should be shipping the pulleys either Saturday or next Monday.

i have yet to check my hotmail email today, so now i am not looking forward to this.

IMO, the money orders are made out to him, freaking sign them and cash them, the bank will not know any difference. i know my bank doesnt care.

and even if this is the case, he should at least ship the ones that have made the payment out correctly.

hopefully i get mine soon!

Mine was a cashier's check, and I'm pretty sure that the only signature required on the check was the bank's sig. If, however, I was riding the short bus that day and I get it returned, I apologize in advance to all whom I delayed.

I guess we'll wait and see who receives their checks back...

(The excitement of ordering the pulley made me somewhat of a 'tard that day)

I don't have a well heated garage! I do have a heater in there in the shop part but not the garage its self! I need to insulate then heating it will be alot easier! Wasn't your garage heated? Hey I have to go out to my buddies today after work (5:00 or so) if you are going to be around I could stop by and look at the 3400! Let me know here or mymonte either I will be checking later! I left me cell phone at Cris'e apartment so I have to go out there and get it tonight.

yea man, i get off of work at 4pm, so i will be home by 4:45 or so.

i dont have a heated garage, but it stays fairly "not cold" and is heated pretty easily. a small heater will warm it up in about a hour and keep it decent the rest of the day. but the prob with pulling out an engine in my garage is that its not "deep" enough and half the car would need to stick out of the garage door to be able to manuver a cherry picker in there. but i can get some sheets of plastic and duck tape it to the door and the floor and around the ass of the car to keep the wind and what little heat is there.

do you still have my cell phone #? if not, PM me on HERE, i am not allowed to check mymonte at work due to some "pornographic" material that was shown on there.

I have your number programmed in my phone! I will have to get my cell from my buddies house! Then I will give you a call! I have the same probelm with a short garage. I'm planning on pulling some shelfs out in there to give me alittle more room! I have a buddy that has a cherry picker but I need to get it back and forth and I have no idea how I'm doing that! But yeah I'll call you tonight and stop by for a bit!

Yeah, I installed mine about 2 days after I got it. It has been in for about two weeks. I noticed a considerable amount of gain out of her. It was running rough below 3k rpm, as described in the instructions from FFP, and I was going to have my g/f dad do the relearn on Wednesday but last nite I totaled the GT. :-( So I guess its back to square one, gotta go to the impound and get as much stuff off of her as I can. Car was hit pass door/front. I'll let you know how the pulley survived :-)
