what time the different things runs like carshow /racing/swapmeet

is the 25 for the car show to enter or look at the cars?

it says right on there
Racing prices are listed on right side
Car show $15
Swap Meet $25
Spectators or Crew $15....

I never really paid any attention to the swap meet so i cant help you out with that. but the car show and racing is pretty much all day. gates open at 8, we usually roll in around 9:30-ish... clean up the cars (for those in the show) judging is usually 11-1 or somewhere along there, and then the awards ceremony is around 3-4.

well... i'm gonna get a hotel room for Friday night and Saturday night... at this point i think i have one roommate, but i have to double check...

crap when ya snooze ya lose, it's now $170 instead of $123 ... unless i leave/arrive on tuesday/thursday in which case it's $133 ... bleh. guess i'll just stay at work 2 extra hours one week to make up for it heh.

okay i'm officially goin now, so you biatches better show me that east coasters can have a good time too

current plans: seth picking me up from ACY, friday at 9:20 AM ; steve dropping me off at ACY, monday (flight leaves at 2:50 PM so whenever we'd have to get there so i'd have enough time to leave)

as far as hotel: no clue since none of you seem to know what the hell is going on each night

- i can stay friday at seth's and sat/sun at the hotel, all 3 nights at the hotel ... it doesn't matter to me either way. for now i guess i'll play it by ear.

Alrighty, I'm gonna book the hotel early next week. Does anyone have any objection to the Howard Johnson that we stayed at last year? If not, that's where I'm booking. I'm getting 10 rooms, and I'm gonna see if they can block them for Friday - Saturday - Sunday, and then when you call to make reservations, you can tell them the nights you are staying. Hopefully they'll let me do that. If any of the 10 rooms are not spoken for as of that Wednesday, I will cancel them.

I just wanna remind those that are not planning on staying Sunday nite...you will have to have all of your stuff packed and be checked out of the room before we leave for the show on Sunday....we usually leave by 9am.

I'll post the price as soon as i get it...i have to call and book the hotel first. i think it was around 70-80 last year, with a group discount (wasn't really a "group" discount cuz none of the hotels gave that, but it was a AAA discount, even if you don't have AAA)

well what happens is, i block off a bunch of rooms under my name. then whoever needs a room, calls the hotel and mentions my name, and then the room goes under THEIR name, under THEIR credit card, so i'm not held responsible if you bail. any rooms not booked by that wednesday before, i am cancelling so everyone should pretty much know by then. i haven't gotten any complaints on the hotel, so assuming the haven't booked all the rooms yet, i will contact them as soon as i can early next week. then i will post up all of the information
