as far as brakelines go I ordered the Goodridge SS brake lines to go along with this.. I have the following for brakes as soon as it all comes in? Calipers I still need to find a local place has them for $15 each but im not sure of what shape there in, if there bad ill use it for a core at the local auto part store.

Front
Baer 13" Track Kit
Drilled / Slotted / Zinc Washed 2 Piece Rotors
2 Piston Calipers

Rear
SE to GT Disc Swap
EBC Slotted / Dimpled Rotors
Goodridge SS Brake Lines
EBC GreenStuff Pads

think its gonna stop good now?

The four wheel disc master re design delivers the extra needed volume and pressure to the rear allowing your rear disc brakes to function properly. If you attempt to use a disc/drum master on a four wheel disc system you will get poor rear brake function and experience a spongy brake pedal with a long pedal travel.
here we go again.....

master cylinder is the same for all models see attached image.

btw I already have a spongy pos brake pedal that clunks and creaks, .

I would love to do this mod but am a little scared to yet as I am afraid I might get halfway through it and be stuck on something. Do we all have the spongy pedal, I thought it was just me .

I am sure it was him that posted a How-To that I read awhile back. I may have to dig it up and read over it again. I might end up doing this yet though.

***EDIT: I cannot find the thread from EBlend, if anybody knows it, can they post up?

i don't think i ever posted a how too, but its fairly easy really, like snwman said, only a few bolts, what u need is the whole rear brake assembly and ebrake cable from a gt and then reattach the strut bolts, the sway bar bolt and hum, trailing arm (i don't know if this is actually what it is) and hook up the ebrake and the new lines and ur done

why would you want to convert it to a regular GT disc brake setup, why wouldn't you just go get a good aftermarket brake system while you're at it instead?

a good aftermarket drum to disc conversion would probably cost an arm and a leg. im not sure for the GA, but i've looked into them for my ride and they want $700...plus S&H, plus install. since it's that cheap i may look into doing it. i kinda figured it'd be 3 or 400 for the parts

getting rear disks for me was mainly for looks, so i got factory and put some cross drilled rotors on there, but most of the braking is on the front brakes, so rears dont' really need to be big, fronts would be nice though

Rear Ebrake Cable came w/ brake assembly
EBC Slottled / Dimpled Rotors w/ EBC Green Stuff Pads $250
Calipers somewhere around 15-30 for junkyard ones.

Ummmm this might be a stupid question, but why do you have to change the brake lines and are you running the new ones right from the master cylinder on to the back? Also, what are there Goodridge SS brake lines all about and where can I get them at?

the gt and se rear brake lines are different also but since I bought the goodridge lines I figured i wouldnt bother to take them off at the junkyard. they are very easy to switch over only need to take the old one off and put the new one on.

u only need to replace the little part in the back, the rubber hose, not the whole metal line from the front. u can get the lines at www.pfyc.com
