I was just looking over this thread again and after reading the first post I had a thought.. (they're few and far between so bare with me.. )
It says at the very beginning that this is a '3 board group buy'. Well if it is, then why are we not taking the total of all interested parties from the 3 boards to get us a lower price?? Because we're up to what, like 17 here, I'd like to see the price just a bit lower so that I could get the money together a bit easier.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. We have 17 from here alone, are you taking the total from all forums? Another group discount would really help me alot.

Its actually just going to be a 2 board deal, but then if you count the other GA board then I guess it is a 3 board.

Ok, 2 or 3. Either way, if we have 17 here how many are on the other boards and why are the numbers not combined for a greater deal?

Ok, just emailed her to confirm that i'm in the group buy.

Maybe Homer is busy? The board just got upgraded so maybe that has something to do with the disappearance of Homer?

Well I'm out. I was hoping to see the price come down more. I called the only 5 shops in the area that install leather interiors, 3 will only install leather they provide and the other 2 want to charge $500 and that's just to start (without seeing the car or product). So $1000+ is out of the question at this time, leather isn't that important not for that price.

Jumping to conclusions people? Does some of you guys realize that Homer may not have the time everyday to respond to forums? If I understand correctly, there are other group buys on other forums taking place so you've got to put all of that into perspective.

Remember, this Group buy ends May 7th. Give her some time.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it either. I'm sure she's on vacation or something. Not like she doesn't want to sell a bunch of seat covers!!

I don't have the time, patience, know-how, or tools to tackle a job like this. So if (when) I screw something up, I'm out more than $600.

Hey Guys! I;m not sure why, but I suddenly was no longer receiving the "instant notification" thing that lets me know when one of you posts. So I just figured this forum was quiet for a few days! Plus, I have been on vacation since last Friday 'tll yesterday. Sporry about that! OK, the issue is whether the price will go down if we get over twenty, right? Well, like I posted before, you need to send me an email CONFIRMING that you will go in on this group buy. I have a list of INTERESTED buyers, but only six of you have emailed me and confirmed. I cannot go to the boss asking for him to lower the price with less than ten buyers! I am going to look into it today to see how many we have confirmed from the other forums. So, please send me those emails, as then I will keep in touch with you as to what is going on and it is much easier for me to keep track of you that way!
Cheers
Kim
"02andahalfGT" You were quoted WAY too much for installation. If you are still interested, I will make some phone calls myself to get you a better price.
