Ok....let's not elect Pace for senate. his opinions are outragious!

only those with v8's or high horsepower stock cars can be enthusiasts!!! whatever.... go tell that to the 8 billion honda owners and acura's!! i saw one yesterday runnin 12's! with a turbo!

i am sure grand am's will be in the low 13's...... heck you were one of the first to hit 13's period..... time will tell while the market keeps opening up with options and products!

350 Z's are a much more desired "sports car"...that is why it has 285 horses and mucho aftermarket...the Grand Am is just a slow developer!

thanks

I'm chill.....just a friendly debate.

I guess I'm just getting old and sick of having to tweak this and that to be fast. My next car won't be one that I have to build if I want it to be fast......It will be one that I will have to build if I want it to be OUTRAGEOUSLY fast

"You're running high 14's"

That's what you lied about, among other unfounded criticisms, like saying I didn't pull 264HP at the wheels when I have evidence and offer witnesses.

I have more projects that I helped work on than you ever have. Turbo kit, upgraded transmission with a limited slip, working on the mounts and limiters still. I worked with FDP on doing one of their first sets of heads with the LS1 springs.

In the future, I have another improvement to the turbo (not with HPP) in the works. You are nothing to me, I only dispel your lies and accusations. I have more suspension stuff in mind too.

Just because you were on this site longer you had your GA longer and you can't hold a candle to what I have done with this platform. No you don't have any more say on this board over me or anyone else. You didn't help develop anything as far as I know. I don't consider you have a good 1/4 slip as making you an expert of anything other than trash talk.

I haven't seen your dyno slips yet. As matter of fact I haven't even seen a track slip. Who watched you run? Was someone there I can talk to verify that you indeed did the run? See, it's easy to poke holes in stuff. I just assume you are telling the truth unless you have reason to believe otherwise. You think me having a time slip will prove or disprove anything if you don't want to believe it? Point is when I do get slips, it still means nothing to me. Dynos mean more right now because we don't put down enough power to worry about the other items that makes your car just a hair faster, ie weight, suspension, wheel and tires, and so on.

I this, I that. I agree with what you said and congratulations for all you've done, but get off your throne . There are a few that have done just as much with this platform than you, I don't see them parading around here all the time looking for pats on the back and continuing a ****ing contest on the internet

500th post under this username! whooptie doo doo!

by the way.... who is the first aftermarket performance company to introduce a turbo for the Grand Am???

who got this started??? so who does deserve a "thank you for your effort and contribution"????

seems like everyone here gives guys like Irate, Spaz, Jaketuff, Aleroboy (John) and other long time users/(MODERATORS) a lot of props and recognition....but i have heard lots of negative talk about others....

(and by the way...the way.... i know the others dont put on gloves everytime someone makes a negative comment like Phantom) but maybe a little appreciation would go a long way, it might just help put a little muzzle on the defensive side of things from him......

I give him mad props..... sorry for the insult but it is true about the muzzle... you need one man!

And how many are attacked as viciously as I am. I am constantly challenged by Pace, 95GT, Doug, and now YOU to name a few. If you'll notice I never start these tangents. I have no reason to. I answered his question, then everyone piled on. Why should I get attacked for honestly answering questions? I finish these arguements, I don't let misinformation out. In the other thread I responded because seeing as I am the one that helped them I thought I should straighten him out. I sound like a broken record here, but maybe one day people will take a hint.

The people that have done work on this car are the ones that inspired me to go out and find projects and companies that will work with us. For better or for worse aleroboy (John, APoC) was the source of most of it. And he gets attacked from time to time also. See a trend here? He defends himself. I've taken a lot of heat lately, and that's fine. But you tell me that I shouldn't, that is a load of horse**** and you know it. I've told John many times in the past how grateful I was for his efforts. Lately I've been a little harsh, but that's because we didn't see eye to eye on the whole SC vs. Turbo thing.

BTW, don't bother worrying about assisting me on the limiters. I'll have the shop rent a car if necessary. We were going to generously compensate whoever was willing to help, but now I'm thinking that generosity and kindness gets me nothing but flames (and I'm not suppose to attack back or defend, I'm suppose to just take it right?).

These boards are no source for encouragement for anyone. I don't look for that here anymore. People get bigger props for installing headers than I do for busting my ass and spending hard cash to get better and better stuff you all of you ingrates.

Why don't you start worrying about the jerks that start these flames instead of me? Huh? I you put out the match before the fire starts then you won't have to listen to me gripe, bitch, and moan. If I have the mods assurance that outright lies and attacks will be delt with accordingly, then I will have nothing more to say.

WTF. I think all of you have it a little backwards. Go back and read how every one of these fights starts. Someone attacks ME. Not the other way around. I think you need to look a little closer at who starts this. Just because I put on a much stronger and harder fight and get MY ATTACKERS on the DEFENSE doesn't mean I STARTED it.

The first company to offer a turbo for the Grand Am was ITS. Though the project went to ****, they were the first company.

I HOPE THAT 1ST LONG SPILL WAS NOT DIRECTED TOWARD ME.... IF SO YOU DONT TAKE APPRECIATION WELL AT ALL?

and this one may be justified... maybe they do jump on you.... but man... i gotta say you defend yourself well.... but you might be a little ****y sounding?? maybe not...it is a computer.. sometimes what we type doesnt = what we say! it can be misrepresented??!! ..... again congrats, thanks and all the rest.....

cant wait to see the slips! that will shut all of them (and myself) up!

you are as analytical as myself... never stick a bunch of analytical know it alls in a room.... that is when blood gets splattered!

I said I'd help out, but you never followed through. You have my phone number, I helped you with some DHP questions you had IIRC a while back.. I never said I expected to be generously compensated or anything of the like. I don't expect ONE thing out of it but to help a member of the boards out. That's the difference between me and you I suppose - I don't expect anything in return for helping someone out. Having the satisfaction and someone saying "thank you" is plenty of compensation.

Again, congratulations for what you have done and what you are doing. But don't expect everyone around here to kiss your ass for it. Whether or not you see it, I have the utmost respect for you, your projects, your car just not your attitude sometimes. God knows I'd do some crazy things to my GA, but it's not practical for my life right now. Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you are trying to say through a computer.. but god damn calm down. No don't sit back and take flames, but relax a little man.

Brent (sp?) had the first ITS turbo, yes the end project ended up failing, but I didn't see him soliciting for kudos everywhere.. He did his own thing and showed us along the way and that was that. Didn't expect anything from anyone else. He got crazy props along with everyone else here who's done something new.

As far as starting this mess on this thread.... what did you expect with a statement like this??

But the efforts by the member trying to get the kit made mean nothing ???? I don't think so ... He's in the same boat as Tom - wanted a turbo setup then went and got one made.
