Show me your subs!!!
I'm trying to get some ideas as to how I should install my sub in my car. I bought a 10" that I'd like to have custom installed, possibly into a fiberglass enclosure to the side of the trunk, so that I don't have to sacrifice trunk space. Anyone out there with some cool designs, please post pics. I promise not to rip off anyone's install, but I'd appreciate the input.
Thanks!

Great time for the fun part.
. Well a fiberglass box is the easiest way to make a nice stealth hide away box. The best location is the spare tire well, but sounds like the loss of the tire is not an option, so you are right a side pannel mount would be neat.If you are in the Georgia area I know a great place that can do that type of install... mine is here, but takes up the whole turnk: http://www2.gapower.com:9069/~seowne...dGTR/audio.htm |

GR*** i have a memphis amp its 1000D and that is a sealed box measured out to 1.25 per the sub. Sealed box is the best way to go in a grand am. Because the car is sealed good. And you dont need a ported box becuase you dont have alot of air to more around like a SUV

Thanks to all who contributed
I think for now I'm just going to go with a prefab box and find a local shop later on this year to do some fiberglass work for me. I'll post some pics once I get the system installed. Thanks again! Keep on posting if you got 'em

I've noticed that most everyone's box in the trunk has their subs facing the REAR of the car. Is it better to have the sub face the rear of the CAR or the rear of the back SEAT?
