5 months is short, ask the people who have been waiting over a year from a certain vendore.....then were told they were going to have to wait longer for a refund from their loan...errrr...I mean pre-pay.

i think i know the vendor mentioned above, thats why i don't plan on dealing with them again. i mean it took 8 months to get the part that i ordered and the only reason i got it then was because i was moving and didn't have my new address. but as far as this goes r&d does take alot of time and also when dealing with different companies to make different parts also effects time tables.

Reading back they had the TB's milled already and only needed the plates. I doubt they'd make the investment on milling the TB's without following through. They'd want some return on it. Although why it could take so long to make something as simple as the plates is a mystery.

another good thing when ur puttin your bigger throttle bodie on is the take the upper intake off and get your dremel out of whatever method is best for you and grind down the metal where the air flows through to make the 62 mm t.b match the 62mm intake inlet instead of 62mm into a 56mm

AaronGTR has made plenty of valid pointsAaronGTR has made plenty of valid points
^ what he said... stock is 56mm.

You'll burn out a dremel tool and go thru a million sanding drums trying port an intake mani to match a larger TB. They aren't meant for that kind of heavy duty work. For a couple bucks you can get some larger sanding drums and flap wheels from sears that fit in your drill. They will make the work go much faster and easier with a better end result.

Appearantly you didn't get one with a plasic plug and a jacked up screw holes to where you have to dissamble to install it.
