Sorry, gotta make one more after that.

*sigh* that has to be your biggest crock of sh1t yet

So you want us to believe you just hopped in the car and drove down there to look at the stickers (with no camera)? Also you know for sure how they allocate all the cars each night? Annnnnnd, they lock up the SVT's each night?? I've never heard a dealer do that for any car, they are insured anyway, why would they bother? I actually did just drive down there, with the camera. The cars are in the back parking lot. They dont move them all every night, they shut the gate to them. ALL the cars are back there. There are a few of each cars up front, but no SVT's. Want proof that Bobby? Cause if you do, I will go drive back there and prove it to you.

Hmmm.

Once again, Holden Monaro HSV GTO is the real GTO.

If a 300C with 4 doors can pull faster than the GTO and reach a 1/4 time of 13.9, then that's a shame. I'd rather go for the 300C which offers more luxury and features or even the charger that will be coming out. By the way, motortrend reports that the SRT-8 300, Magnum/Charger will have 425hp.

This GTO is a joke. Yes, I was on the bandwagon intially until I found out what times it delivers. Although this is probably pontiac's best product in terms of interior and exterior quality, fitment, and reliablity; it just doesn't live up to what they set it out to be. They bring over the base Monaro and call it the GTO...with absolutely no options. The 350Z, G35C, and RX-8 are better choices.

Thought you could slide that one by me, eh? I'll get you yet...

Anyways on topic. I have yet to see a GTO driving around in my area. But on the other hand if I wanted to see one I'd just take a gander at Cavaliers, Mazda 6's, Toyota Solaras, etc. etc. Must all cars look so plain these days? I'm almost half tempted to slap some of the old GA ribs on the side of a GTO to give it some visual personality.

First things first however would be to convert the plain Jane front and rear to Aussie spec.

The Mazda 6 is one of the best looking sedans.
Yeah, I dunno how the Cavalier would compare!

Does the next GTO get a LS2 from the new C6?

If you were smart you'd go for the RX8 between the 2.
