before the playoffs i said pistons would be in the finals (true), the lakers would be lucky to get out of the second round (derek fisher - true), and that they'd win the championship in 5 over minnesota. looks like the 5 might be right, just the wrong team

I was kinda tired of owning the NBA anyway so my guys will give the rest of the NBA a chance for a few years,but don't think for a minute that it will be for a longtime because the Lakers are not one of these run of the mill franchises that accepts not winning because the Lakers are all about championships.

Even though he didn't have the typical Kobe night he did score 20,but as you go on down the list was there anyone else in double digts for the Lakers?No,with Kobe scoring 20 and Shaq being his usual dominating self scoring 36 and grabbing 20 rebounds if a few palyers step up and not choke then the Lakers win this series,but that isn't happening therefore they will lose it.It hasn't helped at all with Karl Malone being hurt because with a healthy Malone this would not be 3-1 in favor of Detroit..........most likely 2-2.Don't get me started on Payton he has no game anymore and it's actually a pity to see from what the player he used to be...........he needs to retire!
