Wheel Question

Call me stupid, I don't care, I just don't want to mess anything up. I need to remove one of these wheels and these lugs feel fake, are they the real ones? Do I need to pop off a cover or something? (I keep seeing all these posts about chromed plastic and such.)

Thanks....

.. ? me'sa confused. A cover on each lug?

Theres a plastic lug cap on each lug that unscrews the same way as the actual lug nut except its not torqued on. Remove all 5 on one wheel and the center cap will pull off to reveal the actual lugs.

As for seperating the actual chrome "plastic" from the aluminum rim, I'm not sure if you can, and if you can, I'm not sure how, and I'm not sure why you'd want to

cheers (b)
