If it's green then it's probably Kman's SC. He had a green GA and painted the blower green. He sold it to someone else and I don't remember who had it after him. It's definitely a gen four.

The person to ask that question would be Blair, and the time to ask would have been before you bought it. He should be able to tell you if it has everything with it that he got from kman. There's no way we can tell if you have everything or not without seeing a pic of everything you got from him. If you have questions on the install though we can help. Hopefully you got the original installation manual with it?

Elusive85 -

I bought the kit from a guy on ebay for a mear $1,200 right around the time of Hurricane Kartina. The guy I bought it from was probably in his 40's and said that he was the original buyer and got one of the last kits from Magnacharger. He " saw the kit in a magazine ad and called in and ordered it for about $3400" He installed it on his car for approx 1,500 - 3,000 miles (I foget which, but it was less than 3,000 miles) before he removed it due to taking a sales job which required him to use his personal car. He told me that he did not want to use premium gas and had plans of putting it back on one day. It then sat in his garage for a few years before he decided to sell it to me. I was heading back to school at the time and figured I would sell it because I knew I could make a nice profit. I listed it on ebay and ended up selling it to Blair for $2,300 for a nice $1,100 profit since I needed $ for college at the time.

The kit is not powder coated, but painted with automotive paint however it does look good. It is a pratically brand new supercharger and everything was there when I shipped it to Blair.

Hope that helps a little.

If you don't have the install manual I should be able to pull it up in about a week when I get my desktop computer back out for school.

AaronGTR, he said that he had all of the parts for it. I didnt give him the money for the kit yet we haven't been able to get a meeting spot. I know that you are in the Southeast area of michigan were about i think that someone said you were in Grand Rapids. When i go back to school sunday i will be like an hour away in Olivet. So are you willing to help with the install? And yes i will be asking alot of question about the install and anyboy that will like to help that stays in Michigan i would love it.

01GAGT, thanks for the info i really needed that. I do think that i will need to have that manual. I searched and found an old post that has the manual scanned were I can get it. But I would be open to all the help that I can get.

Here is the pics of the stuff that i know he has and he said that he has the other hoses and lines needed to make the kit work:

Here is the instructions that I found that tell how to install the kit.Tell me if these apply to me or not

I think the second kit from Blair was my old Gen 3 Kit, which I purchased from APOC Owner.

Yeah, those photo's are of the original installation manual. I still have mine too. I'm actually in shelby township, about 25 miles north of detroit, so I'm closer to flint. I wouldn't have a problem helping you install when you get the kit. It can be done in an afternoon. I even have a few left over parts like the different air box lid and EGR adapter that I don't use anymore. Hopefully though the kit will have everything with it like he said.

wow looking at this old thread, I guess my supercharger's been through a lot of cars.

Somewhere in there the airbox has been lost, along with the custom water tower and the egr adapter (which I ended up getting custom CNC machined)

Mine's probably the only one still with it's original owner. I highly doubt any of them have been lost or in a junkyard though. Considering there where only about 14 of them and everyone who bought one knows how much they are worth and how rare they are. There's no way someone would just scrap one.

Except for a certain someone on the boards who traded it in with his car.

*ahem*

How many folks do you actually think would get in on a group buy?

Even if you had a ton of people with cash in hand, I don't know if Magnuson could make those custom parts again, cause they told me that they turned over all their specs and whatnot for it back to GM. So I'm guessing unless they had parts to replicate, they'd have to start from scratch. Unless the person I talked to didn't know what they were talking about, which is a possibility cause they produced a limited number for the public even without GM.
