New black TYC euro tails - Page 10

i just emailed them and they got back to me quickly.. he also said that the tails are now being produced with the new harness.. he said if the sockets are black then that's the new harness, if you have a white socket, it's the old..

I am still waiting on my pass side improved harness. I got driver side improved harness that works great but it's still white.

What color did you get. I really want to see the carbon fiber ones on a dark car. Didn't look to see what color your car was, just curious.

I also got an e mail from TYC today saying the new batch is in with the wiring issue resolved. Can't wait to get the chrome ones for the wifes car. He offered to replace my lights instead of shipping new harnesses. Good guy to deal with.

They were good people to deal with, my new harnesses though were still bad. One of my turn signal bulbs were still popping out. Easy fix though just spliced the one off the old harness onto the new, now they work perfect.

Whatever, everybody gets an opinion.. but after seeing this pic, I was convinced that they are awesome. I'll be getting myself a pair soon (second attempt since the ebay seller screwed up my last attempt).

Are you talking about the radioactive tails?

Yep. The tailz still have that angry look to it like the stock ones.

I'm sorry, I'm gonna hafta be a rebel with TCP on this one. I might have paid $285 for my G2 Gunmetals, but when I compare them to these I cna kinda see a difference. IMO, the Gunmetals seem richer looking,like better made. I don't really like how these have the glowing sides, its weird. No, I'm not tryin to convince myself I paid $285 for nothing...I saw the pics and I jus think the Gunmetals are more suited to my taste and I jus like the look of them better

The G2s you speak of didnt come in bermuda black so I assume TPC was speaking of the radioactives... which suck balls. I too had a pair of the gunmetal g2s and paid 285, but I sold them as soon as I saw the TYCs. At the time I needed the money for other matters, but I knew I would be getting the TYCs eventually anyway. I liked the look of the g2s a lot more than most of the memebers of the board but I love the TYCs MUCH more.

I'm glad they went to a fellow member of the forum though. Lookin good Luke D!

, but what is the actual website that I could for sure get the new batch from. I saw the elegant tails website, but it seems like a 2nd market type place that is selling the tails FOR TYC. Is there an actual TYC website that offers the GA tails, I just want to make sure I get the new batch with the updated harness and not from some 2nd market place that still has leftovers from the 1st batch. Also, so no one has the carbon fiber tails on a dark GA??!! I would sure love to see pictures of that. I still can't decide whether to get the black or carbon fiber tails for my dark green spruce metallic color. Thanks!!!

I'll bitch and moan some more.. I won carbon fibers for my black gt on ebay, but the bastads sent me chrome, and then decided they couldnt exchange them only refund me. That's the most p'ed off Ive ever been on ebay. The whole process of him figuring his crap out took like 3 weeks.
