New black TYC euro tails - Page 9

Today I recieved an e mail from TYC and they said the new harness are in to be shipped out right now. They said the new ones have no problems whatsoever. So all of you TYC owners, make sure to contact them so you can get new harness for free.

i got mine from ups and can't wait to get them on the car...

o wait they're at home and i'm at school!

ah.. i'll get them this weekend.. so is the bulb problem obvious, can i tell before i hook them up? or do you think i should just wait for the new harness?

Chances are, your harnesses are defective. Contact the manufacturere, TYC.

I oredered my chrome set on Saturday(9/10) and they arrived at my door on Wed(9/15) Quick install, Superb service with the company. The bulb problem for me was in the drivers side tail/brake light. What I did was place a small piece of rubber behing the plastic clip in the socket and it seemd to be holding just fine. I purchased the chrome ones for my White Grand Am. I don't have any pics yet, but I must say that they look awesome. I bought them off ebay for $180 including shipping. Well worth the money. The ebay screen name for the comapny was fenderworld. Would reccommend these to everyone. Hope everyone else enjoys these as much as I do.

So I got 2 improved harnesses via mail today. They sent me 2 driver side harnesses. Harness for each side is different! I learned this the hard way. So TYC needs to send me a new harness for pass side. Hopefully this is the last time I have to contact TYC. 3 times the charm right? I still love my tails.

Actually I think for the Green ... carbon would look best, no joke, becuase ... well I dunno just seems like it would.

Carbon or black. Chrome is too bright for dark colors, IMO.

Does anyone have pictures of their car with the carbon fiber TYC tails? I think I read this also, but I just wanted to be sure>> So, TYC is not offereing these for our cars for the current time being because of the sagging light situation? Is that right? Just wanted to be clear. I didn't even see Pontiac as an option on their site! Thanks so much.

After buying the black ones for my car I tried to buy the chrome ones for my wifes red GT. Thats when I got an e mail from them saying they wouldn't be selling them until the loose socket problem was corrected. They are still listed on the site though...TYC tails

Anybody know the status on these tails?? I never heard back from them when I emailed them. Though, I think our new email system here at K-State filters different now and I had forgot to check my junk mail for a couple days and it might have been deleted. So, if anyone knows an update about the sagging light situation and such or just whatever 2 cents they have that would be great. Thought I would ask, thanks!
