New GTO Judge

Was at Woodward dream cruise:
concept has a 6.3 L V8 engine with 500 hp at 5200 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm, matching early rumors about the LS7 for the C6 Corvette Z06. It also has a six-speed manual transmission, modified brakes, bigger wheels and tires and new exhaust. The bright orange exterior features a new hood, fender, quarter panel, spoiler, front and rear fascia and rockers.

that is sweet! I like the hood, but I don't really like the orange, GM likes that orange too much....

edit: what happened to the exhaust?

wow, definatley looks very "muscular". dunno about the lack of dual/dual exhaust though. side exits would be kinda slick here....

Oooh I'll be seeing it this weekend then!! Thats the GTO my neighbor was talkin about! He works for the Performance Division and worked on that specific car...

Anyone who is in the area and will be at the cruise this weekend, the car will be at 13 & Woodward at Memorial Park where GM has their displays.

GTO Judge not being orange is like a Ferrari not being red.

..yeah it would, but then you got just another mustang wannabe...this car is great and all, but until GM can offer a v8 under 20 grand, don't waste all our time..

The exhaust reminds me of a 70's Trans Am except it only comes out from one side. Overall it looks good. I sure hope that GM makes the GTO to look very similiar to the one seen above. But knowing GM, it probably wont...

I agree excpet if you look closely it looks as if it really is dual exhaust

if you look in amraams thread about not having a ga anymore theres an underside shot of the gto, theres really no room to put an exhaust outlet anywhere other then that portion of the rear...

that is only a plastic underpan in the back mr_paininmyass. It is like a rear splitter to flow air under the car better. It can be taken off or cut real easily.

Who the hell offers a V8 under 20 grand? I do believe GM is into some heavy drugs and as a result needs to charge a minimum of 1.5x more than they should for every car they make... but NO ONE offers a V8 for under 20 grand anymore.

That car does look nice!!
