Funny enough... never heard that. The biggest problem we had were *******s that would snap the flag's off, breaking them in two. Oddly enough though.. it sounded like it was more or less grumpy fans of opposing team. The first time it happened was game seven when we iced Vancouver. Friend of mine left Shanks Sports Bar, to come and not only find his car flag snapped off, but every single persons down the entire row.

Some people just don't have any class when there team losses.

Meh, whatever.

I was too scared and too cheap to spend another $40 bucks on car flags, so when I got mine, they stayed inside my house and on my wall.

WTG SMYTTY!!!!!

As for Mario, I think he looks 5yrs younger out there and in kick ass shape. Count on him to lead the way to the championship. I can also garuntee we have the best goalie in the world in Brodeur.
Yeah... but it's a toss up. Have to admit... the Kipper has done everything but stand on his head thus far.

Oh baby... am I glad he's signed on with the Flames this year. Oh baby oh baby oh baby... I really want the season to start. Can't wait to see our little club in action again this year.

I hope.

maybe the calgary flames will be like the winnipeg blue bombers. Make it to the final one year, lose, and then the following years become the bottom of the barrel laughing stock of the entire sport

I don't know about that.... 5-0 shut-out against Slovakia last night.

He played well, but Slovakia showed up with a lackluster performance. Their next game is going to be a good one and will be more of a test than their last couple of games.

Well, we've been pretty much bottom of the barrell leading up to the last season, so it's not totally without reach. It'll happen.

But meh... we captured the hearts of millions, so we're just as happy at that. Not to mention the red mile pretty much summed it all up.

In short... ****ing nuts.

Oh, as a side note...

The City of Calgary held a 'welcome home' rally for the Flames after losing in Game 7 against Tampa. I'd almost say more people showed up for this, than those that celebrated in TB.

Now *this* is team spirit and fan support all the way, baby:

In most cases... I'd definately have to agree.

But, going as long as the Flames have with their playoff drought, this can only makes things greaters. I actually hope the season starts, just to watch our team!

But, along side of that, back to the forum topic at hand.

5 - 0 For Canada.

Go us people up north!

Man... What the hell happened last night? That game shouldn't have gone to overtime. I guess Luongo ain't the hotsh#t goalie he thought he was.

Hopefully Brodeur will be healthy for the game on Tuesday.

Go Team Canada!! Wooot!!!

True 'nuff... it shouldn't have. Although, I wouldn't place all the blame on Luongo. I don't think our forwards were giving it their all as best they could. All in all, I'd have to see that was Team Canada's worst performance of this series, which isn't bad to admit since we're still 5-0.

I hate to admit it... performance wise, I almost think that we didn't deserve to win last night's game... but I'm very happy, none the less that we were able to clinch off a win!

I'll be skipping outta work on Tuesday early, that's for sure. 4:00 showing out West here. Thank god I do as little work when I'm in the office, as when I'm not. I won't be noticed leaving at... oh... about 11:30am to get myself ready for the game.
