even if you do this to the tables, and a few other things, some torque management still remains in certain situations.

DHP 1.0 has some torque management setting changes IIRC....... PowerTuner is going to be a must for you cammed guys.

I would go in and raise the line pressures.... remove the Timing/Fuel cutoff's....

leave the other settings the same. and like he said... dont spin the tires in a turn where it is not able to grab traction.

that should remove some of the KR.

Or, you may want to get your tranny checked. Could be shot accumulators and clutches WOT shift should be at about 5700RPM. MPH is a variable in this too, not only RPM. I suppose it could be possible in a normal scenerio, but I would be concerned... Perhaps the 1.0 has much higher shift points than the 1.5.

EDIT: Had to make a smilie for this one

I don't think it's messed up currently. Everything runs smoothly and I've had no codes thrown yet. The car only has 28000 miles on it, with about 1000 miles after the h/c

This didn't throw any codes (until all the fluid came out, ):

Nor did this:

Point is, you shouldn't wait on the idiot light. It may not be a bad idea to change the fluid & filter to see if there is excessive clutch wear, metal debris, etc.

The needle may be off a little, but more than likely the clutches are slipping between shifts. Even so, the engine should not rev that high regardless. DHP does not and would not put the rev limiter that high on a generic pcm program that's mass marketed to people with mostly stock engines. You would require an engine with balanced internals and valve train modifications to rev to 7000rpm without blowing up in short order or lasting any length of time. They know this... you'd have to get a custom program for that high a rev limiter.

I would get a scanner on it so you can get an accurate rpm reading from the crank sensor instead of what the tach is showing you.

I've set my shift points to around 6400 rpm with a rev limiter 6800 (spark retard 6800, fuel cutoff is at 7000).

I have hit the rev limiter. I shifted at 6400, but apparently the gear didn't catch until 6800!! I was using a scanner. Tranny slip????

On another note, I just got my headers put in yesterday (pics on my website). I'll be hitting the track on friday where I will be messing with my timing. I'll post my results (unless they suck)

what shift point rpm are you commanding in the pcm?

I didn't touch the rpm section, only the speed section since "both Shift Speed and RPM must be exceeded for the transmission to shift" (from the manual).

I modified the Normal shifts only from 87% TPS and up to match the speeds at WOT.

Did you get my scans & bin????

Well, went to the track last night, this time with headers. First the excuses:

Stock weight plus 5/8 tank of gas
Bald Eagle RSA's... can't go any further on these things...
Tuning... I'm slowly figuring it out, but it's taking a long time. Still having some shifting problems.
Stock timing.

My sig has the time (14.527). It's getting better!! Going to the track again today to work on my tuning.
