Perfectly streetable. I drive my car around 150 miles each week. If anything, my engine runs cooler, but I think it's because of the t-stat I installed.

Also, gas mileage remains the same (if not better) if you're not at WOT. I drive mine daily as well ( approx 600 km's per day ). I plan to drive in winter as well. YOU NEED TO INCREASE YOUR IDLE. I bumped mine up to 950 and it still sounds cammed, but not like it is ready to stall.

The only problem I have so far is my power steering fluid seeps out by the filler cap. This, I think, is because I'm shifting (at WOT) at about 6500 rpm (with transmission slip, I'm hitting 6800). I assume the power steering pump is not made for revs that high. I'm guessing an smaller underdrive will cure that problem.

every car is different, but on Tom's car, we left the idle around 750 rpm's? i just did some pcm work for him a week or so ago, and asked if it needed bumped up, but he said it was cool where it was.

you may have stumbled upon something with the p.s. pulley. i haven't heard of rev's being an issue with one, but not many people are taking these cars to the limit. if rpm's do play a factor, than a underdrive pulley will definately help. if that doesn't fix it, it's something else.

that's not a good question to ask right now . i've got a stage 2 on the shelf, and i placed another order a few days ago. shouldn't be too long before those come in. if any of you are considering getting a cam say within the next 3-4 weeks, i'd appreciate it if you could let me know and tell me what cam in particular you're thinking about, and i'll make sure to have enough in stock. it's just tough to keep cams in stock at this point, which isn't a bad thing, we'll just need to order more and more as demand goes up.

so is the demand what you expected??? better or worse... do you see it picking up?

I am curious who all is modding these cars???

here's how i think the demand is ...

basically there were some skeptics, and now we have good solid results of gains on a dyno and at the track, i would say most of these skeptics have been convinced, although i don't deny there may still be some. anyways, now that these skeptics have seen what these parts do, i think they now have these mods on their wish list. after these very positive results, in this aftermarket, the demand will not instantly go up. some of these parts are expensive and require some saving up, so i would anticipate a 1-2 month delay before the demand really hits us. so yes i think the demand is there and increasing, but right now people are just saving up. that's my opinion, and i could be wrong.

as far as being what i expected, yeah i think the project is going well. i'm getting to the point where i need to think about how fast i can sell 50 cams if i make a bigger order, and/or how much more i want to invest into the project.

as far as my goals for the season, my first was 13's NA in a GA, then once we do a cammed 3400 w-body, i wanted to put one of those into the 13's NA. not to be too confident, but i think we're close on the first goal. Tim is a good 60 ft away from completing that one.

getting ready to install the last stage 1 cam at the same time i do a 3400 swap in a 96 monte carlo ls. should be done within the next week. Kyle if you order a stage 1, i can have one probably within a week or two.

i sent a couple out, but i don't think they've been installed yet.

I'm not sure what it idled at before, but its still higher than before.

Hey I was just wondering if you installed the stage 1 cam yet and how it performs, I am still torn between the stage 1 or the stage 2 cam.

Cool, is there any way we could possibly get a sound clip or vid clip of the stage 1 like there is of the stage 2 cam, and you might also want to put those Vids up on your site, it might help move more cams.

we will have a vid clip within a week up for the stage 1 cam. the guy who posted below you is Matt, the guy responsible for my website. i've been bugging him to get that stage 2 vid on the site for a while now, but he's been busy. i'm sure he'll get to it pretty soon.

Matt, i put the new crossover on, and the exhaust leaks are gone. car seems to be running even better also. I haven't really got on it that much, but we drove it from the shop 1/2 hr to my house, and it went great. we do need to talk about what you want to do to that tire though.
