Hey guys thanks for caring so much..

Yesterday was the 1st day I started usin my phone again cuz I haven't been in much of a mood to talk, plus it hurt n I've been tired. Today I'm attempting the computer thing (had to listen to the new Green Day cd my dad picked up for me hehe)

Altho surgery was scheduled for around 3 on Monday, they actually came down to get me at 9:15am cuz there was an opening.. so it was like omg.. n next thing I knew I was in the recovery room screaming "it hurts it hurts" n begging for pain meds. After that things went well I guess. I don't really remember much from the 1st day. n I was on a steady morphine drip, plus I had the button.. which I pushed 64x that nite, n got 38 additional doses of.. whoops. Needless to say, the next day my head was spinning sooo bad, I couldn't move..

They had me off the cathoder n oxygen n up walking (the 6ft to the bathroom) by Wed morning.. hurt like a fockin bitch. I have the hugest scar, but I haven't looked at it yet.

I was allowed to drink "clears" on Thurs, n Friday I was finally allowed to eat real food..

I was told I could be released this afternoon, but I'm still in a lot of pain from my intestines being completely torn apart n moved.. so the surgeon suggested tomorrow (sunday). Anyways, they're serving mac n cheez for dinner tonite so I can't miss that!

so yeah, that's pretty much the news, less some of the details u guys don't need to hear about. Thanks everybody for everything.. voicemails, cards, IMs, posts.. I've gotten them all, n they've been makin me feel a lot better. Talk to everybody soon, n hopefully cya ya'll soon too!

be careful with that crap... they give that to people at end of life because it pretty much eats away at your body...

Hospital mac n cheez was the worst ever.. but I ate 2 portions of it anyway hehe.

They offered me a rx for percs, but I'm gonna go with the tylenol with codene instead..

Erika, no OD on the morphine.. that's why I stopped.. it was doin more harm than good.. Toredol (sp?) works wonderfully tho.

n I haven't been answerin my phone all week.. not til late last nite n today.. I barely was breathing all week.

g-d this week sucked. =/ Finally startin to feel a lil better now.. walking is still pretty rough. I hate gettin out of my bed here.

waiting for the surgery must have been the worst.....mine was emergency, so before I knew what was happening I was done for.last thing I remember was being in the hallway and told to sign here....remember if u need to talk I've been thru this since 1994.

With the way my arms are lookin right now, u'd think I was a junkie.

but the last of the IVs finally came out, I just got outta the shower (ouch.. my scar is like 2ft long..), n I'm goin home today!!!!!!!

digital, sure bring beer (which I'm not allowed to drink yet), n u can come over. Steve, thanks a lot, n I appreciate it. Waiting for surgery all week prior sucked, but when I got called down over 5 hrs early on Monday, that was a huge relief, n at the same time a huge scare. My dad was nearly in tears on the phone cuz he was plannin on being here before I went in, but since he was over an hour away, he was never gonna make it in time.. so that was sad. If we ever meet, hell, we can compare scars..

Sorry had to say it. My scar actually can't be seen. It was done sideways right in line with the undees band.
We have talked about coming back to dover for a vac this summer, so u never know.

Damn my scar is vertical, smack in the middle above, around, n all the way below my belly button.

I hope mine fades real nice like my appendix scar did - can't see that unless u start inspecting.. def let us kno if ur comin to Dover tho.. there's a lot of us in the surrounding area, so we could all meet up!

i know what you mean about hospital mac and cheese.

i ate some of my friend's before about a year ago when he was in there, it was horrible.
