I Might be up for this thing If i'm not moving into my new house that weekend! BUT i would like to suggest ERIE, PA as a location if it's not too late. It's right on I-90, and lots of shopping, bars, indoor waterpark, track 10 minutes away we might be able to get....
Erie is more accessible than Cleaveland would be and you might get more East Coasters to make it, it's maybe an hour and a half more east? (guessing)

Also decided: I might be able to come now. I have to see if I can miss my attendance based class w/o penalty since ive missed it ... twice ... maybe even three times now. Once I find out, I will let everyone know

EDIT: What is the exact location, and am I looking at about a 12hour drive ?

looks like the final decision is Norwalk/Cedar Point... I will call some hotels in the area and start getting group rates on rooms.. I need people who want rooms for friday and saturday night to post up so i can get a count of how many we will need...

jon - I did a basic map from Ames to Norwalk and it says 9 hours 12 minutes... long drive but would be cool if you could make it...

I would be one to stay Friday and Saturday Night, Who wants to share a room with me? If we can get 4 people to the room, it should be really cheap that way. Roughly $45 a person for the 2 nights

It just a class, start talking to the prof now about going out of town for a pre-planned event and get your work thats due in early and etc... Its just one class, its not like you want have any other classes
