Yeah, and im sure probably a little more than that, and if so they better keep dreaming. For that price they can take that ugly pos and stick it up their ass.

I can think of cars that are much better looking, built better, and geared toward the age. Lets face it GM builds cars about 3 years behind times.

Exactly my feeling on it. I mean if they want $26-27k for a G6 sedan then I'm only low-balling the vert at $30k.

Wow, I wish I had that steering wheel on my G6. The wood trim is focking ridiculous and the auto climate control looks cheap. I am a little dissapointed on the coupe, it doesn't look much sportier than my sedan. 240 horses aren't that impressive, although I wouldn't mind them. Accords and Altimas have had that many horses for years now. The 6 speed is neat, but it won't sell that many and will probly be dropped within 2 years. You all know that the convertible will sticker north of 30 grand, but expect a big rebate on it shortly after launch, just like what happened to the sedan. If I was in the market for a relatively affordable 'vert I would get this, considering the alternatives: Sebring, Solara, and Eclipse are all pretty sad.

Overall I'm glad GM had the balls to make a hardtop 'vert for the masses, but you need at least 270 HP to get me really excited. It can be done, all it needs is that 3.6 from the CTS!

The entire car (coupe and convertible) looks like a Solara, without the tiny little spoiler on it. I'm sure if you'd put my solara next to a new g6 coupe, they'd look almost identical. Wonder how they did that without Toyota getting upset about it.

Pontiac G6 pricing to start at $25,735

It appears the engine has been downtuned slightly. Torque is rated at 241, not 245 that GM stated at NAIAS.

3.9L 3900 V6 SFI with 240 hp and 241 lb-ft of torque

Probably because Toyota knows Pontiac isn't going to sell very many of them

Overpriced. 250HP Altima starts for less. Coupe Schmoope. Looks nice untill you get close and look at the sticker price... then it's downright funny.

The Camry Solara SLE (premium model) starts @ $23.255. Who would pay MORE for a frickin PONTIAC FWD coupe than a Toyota?

NEWSFLASH GM! People buy GM cars primarily because of price, you overprice the **** and you will lose sales!!!

Solstice is a step in the right direction, G6 pricing is opposite.

how long before gm gives out crazy ass incentives, because they can't move the cars?

ya know, this is a damn shame. they're not going to sell many, say "i guess this isn't what people want", and take another step in the wrong direction. sigh.
