Um they didnt make an L67 Monte in 03. 04 was the first year of that. The new monte's are too nascarish! I wish they would make it a hair sporty. Before you know it you wont be able to ever get a 2 door car anymore.

MAYBE. Still a Mustang. I'd rather have the slower classier better looking Vette.

You can mod any car to be faster. Buy an old CRX for 2K and spend 30K in mods and I bet it's faster than a Vette too, but so what. Not impressed.

I think he means you can spend money and make cars faster than others, but the Corvette will always be a nicer car than the Mustang. That's what I got out of it.

I dont know why people always overlook the fact that there is more to a car then the 1/4 mile. A mustang just cant compare to a vette on a road course for the same amount of money, they arent built as well. Come on is it just me or is drag racing boring as hell. Yea you shift, what fun, other then that you drive in a straight line. Even going in circles is funner, but nothing compares to a road course.

Ya, drag is all just straight. No keeping the car from spinning out or anything

I guess you havent seen the setup for the 05 stang suspension wise.

Where did I once say you couldnt? Dumbass

I am just sick and tired of the fact that people think 1320' racing is just smash the gas and go.

why would you bring up spinning out then? because its possible? yea you can spin out, more likely in circle tracks or road courses then drags though. Yea theres more to drags then smash and go, no ****, but theres more to circle tracks and road course then drag racing. And I'm tired of people thinking that drag racing is the end all to car performance and racing.

how bout some rally

rally racing is sweet it's like off road drifting....actually it is. but i think it takes a real driver to do rally. i mean not everyone is good at drag but you need to be more involved and know your limits and your car in a rally. even more so than any other racing.

I am sick reading that you think there is a large part of 1320' racing that involves cornering and stopping distance.

No focking sh1t the car has to stay stable with a decent suspension in a straight race, however, to imply that the suspension is as good, or needs to be as good, as a car that runs around a road track...is focking retarded.
