Hey guys when it comes to a track event I can more then help out there. I have a pretty good in with a track. I am also experienced at running track events. I have put on a couple of events myself before and handle the track events for the club I am in. Just let me know if you need my help as you know I always help the GA cause whenever I can.

It doesn't matter to me where it is, as long as I have enough time to get the time off for me to go

Chicago would be nice, but so would Albany, so its a toss up for me.

I know a lot of planning goes into a huge event like GAP, If Jeremy and Ryan would be doing one this year, they would have started planning Months ago. They have given us a lot of good times, its just kind of a bummer it won't be happening again this year though O'well, I will survive

What is more central then the breadbasket of America, KANSAS! I can definitely go to the one in Kansas City or surrounding areas. But I was just in Chicago not too long ago also and can't really afford to drive up again. Plus spring break this year is going to be lots of $$$. I would love to go to Chi-town again though (very fun place!!), just doubt it would be feasible for me! By the way, where is GAOC at (i'm not on those boards)?

Even if its just a 2 day track and show thats fine. The Nightlife can be filled in as along as everyone is of age, Bar wise I mean.

Steve you are friends with Ron at Byron right? I am trying to figure out which of the first two weekends in June would work better, the 11th is looking the best! They can give us our own lanes and such even though it would be open T&T right? Can you let me know? Thanks!

so thats the deal so far guys, none of the locals tracks have open T&T on friday nights unless we make the trek south to US41 in Indiana (and I would have to call and check but I think I have a copy of their 2005 schedule at home). Route 66 in Joliet only has T&T on tuesday nights and Byron only has it saturday and sunday afternoons!

so if we do a track day on saturday, we would have to do the car show/picnic on sunday or friday... which might be hard if people are going to come into town fri-sun and want to head home sunday afternoon?

ideas/feedback/suggestions???

and what do you mean by 'doing a car show' ... if you mean everyone goes somewhere and parks, and then hangs out...sounds good to me haha
