the last thing harrison will do is risk a penalty that will hurt his team for a cheapshot. he is going to go out there and play like he does every game, 100% all out. he is likely to lay a lick on a few people, mitchell may or may not be included... depends if he catches a ball

Freddy Mitchell has no place to be talking about the defending super bowl champions. Him talking is almost as bad as Mike Vanderjagt. He has 2 td's on the season and 377 yards recieving. Him talking is equivalent to Earthwind Moreland (backup CB) talking crap about the Eagles receivers. He should keep his mouth shut and play the game. I'm sure Rodney can't wait to lay him out.
did ya watch the interview??? He wasn't saying that at all. How the hell did ya get that he was saying they were a bunch of nobodys, by just knowing their numbers??? He showed no disrespect at all.

If he wasn't disrespecting them he wouldhave appologized for saying it. I feel that he was disrespecting them and the Pats players feel the same way. You would think that if he wasn't disrespecting them he would have said he wasn't and that he didn't mean it like that, but he didn't. Also, if he was serious about not knowing their names then the Eagles better start getting prepared for the game, because if they aren't their in for a rude awakening. He should know their names by now. Christian Fauria made a comment about that, it was something along the lines of "Maybe they don't start practicing til next week."

i dont care about his comments whatsoever, but ill back up bryan, it was a more of a put down comment then anything else. if one of the pats said philly's wide recievers were just a bunch of numbers to him then obviously the philly WRs would take it personally. when youre a starter on a superbowl team your opponent knows your name.

if ty law and tyrone poole were playing, mitchell would not have made that comment but since its a bunch of backups, he doesnt consider then on the same level recognition wise. but they have gotten the job done better than most all year and deserve some respect, i think thats why some of the pats took it kind of personally

LOL...we could go around for hours. You guys are pats fans. I'm an Eagles fan. We'll never agree. He even later on said dang it wasn't to disrespect them, if it was taken that way he said sorry.

I was listening to a bit of media day on sports radio on my way to work this morning. TO said he "will" play on Sunday. I think he's being a little too confident and I really think it's going to cost his team. That's fine with me anyways, cuz that Pats are going to kill them no matter what.

here is a pats fans vs philly fans editorial by two guys, one for the pats, one for the eagles

its pretty funny, especially since the philly guy keeps stating how philly fans are better because boston sports fans are suddenly all ****y... but that sounds like ****iness when you read it

now we dont have to analyze and argue, i just thought it was humorous. and for the record, i watched every game of every losing season for the pats as well as the winning ones... well the ones i was alive for obviously. oh... and boston formed this country more than philly did! haha dont attack me

oh and a little fact, the eagles owner was interested in buying the patriots back when they were for sale but kraft had a better offer i think, and the two are buddies

now its story time: this one time after a bruins vs flyers game at the fleetcenter, the bruins won by 3 or 4... we were walking out, and a group of bruins fans was harassing a huuuuge group of philly guys who came on a charter bus. and one of the flyer fans (wasted of course) picks up a can off the ground and turns and hucks it at a bruins fan.... thing is he hit his buddy point blank in the face one of the funniest things ive witnessed (not trying to bash on any fans or anything, just thought it was a good time for story time)

How can anyone go against the pats? In back to back weeks they beat the NFL's top offense by holding them to a field goal and then blew out the NFL's best defense scoring over 40 I believe.

I had earlier predicted a 51-3 Patriots victory in the Super Bowl.

This past Wednesday, Tom Brady's grandmother passed away. I am now changing my prediction...to 97-0. He is going to play his heart out for his grandmother.

easy, because philly ISNT the best offense in the league and they ARENT the best defense. they are equally balanced, loaded with talent, hungry, driven, eat campbells soup.

im very upset at most patriot 'fans' and their overlooking of philly. the pats got this far and have done so great in the past years by not looking past opponents, not being c.ocky and giving each of their opponents the respect they themselves would want

not singling anyone out, just venting... except maybe pontga00

Obviously the Patriots will never say that they are "looking passed this team" or that "the opponent is a great team" and this and that, it's not their way of doing things.

But, this is the last game of the season, and they have no one to look passed for. They know the are going to win handily, but they're Belichickism won't let them admit to it.

Corey Dillon will be the MVP, and it will be over by halftime.

Edit: And obviously I know that it is extremely difficult for any team in a Superbowl to score 51, much less 97. I am just trying to emphasize the blowout factor. More realistically, I see 34-7.

We'll see boys....it's closing in on that time. I hope they don't believe they are going to win handily because they could be in for a beat down with that thinking. I doubt they are though. Only the fans and media believe that. I doubt that NE believes that. They know this is the NFL and anything can happen. Ahem dolphins.

I still think the Pats will win, obviously because they are my team. Although i have my predicted score, you can't overlook any team in the playoffs, especially the super bowl. The Rams learned that a few years ago, as did Pitt. Pats fans did this same thing last year with the Panthers, it was a lot closer than everybody thought it would be. When Donovan Mcnabb is your quarterback and Andy Reid is your coach, you have a shot to win the game.
