The guy's response on the site: Making the kit in Polyurethane is a possibility, however we need a greater number of participants in the GB. (at least 50+). Since productions costs are extremely high, we would like to make the fiberglass version first and see what the demand for the body kit is like.

LISTEN THE KIT WILL BE MADE OUT OF FIBER GLASS FOR THESE 3 REASONS
1) Ease of repair. Some simple bondo and some touch-up paint will do wonders if it's a daily driver. Polyurethane is much harder to repair if you're a DIYer and sometimes nearly impossible. 2) Accomodation to "extras." If you don't like certain parts of the kit they can add, fill, shape or customize the fiberglass much easier than with polyurethane. Most aftermarket scoops, etc. are made of fiberglass and fiberglass molded to fiberglass is much easier than fiberglass to polyurethane. 3) Cost! |

in otherwords they dont wanna make urethane cuz it costs more and is prolly harder to make. yall must be from down south or west coast. we get winter we need urethane. besies fiber is also heavier for all u 1/4 timers out there. u can look great with a kit and go faster too

Potholes, snow or whatever- if your so damn worried about scraping then you should NOT purchase the kit in the first place. It's a trade-off to making the car look good. When you have ANY bodykit you have to learn how to drive correctly and carefully, be it ***, AAS, RK, SC/T, etc. The kit is going to be made of fiberglass, PERIOD. Your either in or out. It's as simple as that.

Just an FYI, they can't make a urethane kit with the same kind of mold used for a fiberglass kit. It's a totally different process. That's why most companies involved in fiberglass bodykit's will never make a urethane kit. They don't have the money or resources to make the molds or get the equipment.

Ok for all you guys with the 4 doors your lucky i found a 4 door car to test it on so the front bumper and rear bumper will fit great on a door door but i still need a 2 door car to test it on so the side skirt will fit.
