grill inserts =
in my opinion!i like them with a shiny tranny cooler and no inserts or plastic cover on the top side... kinda like my grand am with the top ram air, but larger on the grand prix. cleared corners...... too bad the wife said no to rockers... otherwise they would be on! maybe later.... much much later

If you do rockers, make sure you upgrade your springs and retainers and install new valve seals while you're in there. With Rockers, PEM (ported exhaust manifolds), 3" downpipe, DHP, 41-932 plugs, and Intake you should be able to run a 3.2" SC pulley as a daily driver and a 3.0" pulley with race gas. I would also get a LS1m or Autotap and a miniAFC to tune your fuel tables in. That combo above would cost around 1000-1500 and make your car a mid 13 car easy. With more track prep and a good launch, low 13's are possible if everything is running right. As far as grille inserts, I like mine a lot. I needed something to distinguish my car from every direction. The rear has the magnaflow exhaust tips, tinted tails, inlays, & SLP gen1 spoiler. The side has the rims & painted calipers. The front has the inlays, grilles, and hood. So from whichever direction I am coming from, I'm sure to get the attention. Decide on a color "theme" and start with that. If I had a dark-blue GTP, I would use reflective silver inlays.

Your other option is Autotap which can use a laptop or a Palm. They cost about the same (~$200 in clubgp classifieds) so it is really a preference. More GP'ers use the LS1m though.

Mike, get the PowerTuner, scan, tune, and monitor your car all at the same time
A lot of people like ls1 edit for scanning, but people claim its kind of slow for real time monitoring, but its still better than nothing.

Its on the front of the snout. It uses an allen key to get out. I warn you though it is the worst smelling substance on earth. Now for the sc coupler. You need to take the alternator off, both drive belts, then remove the 10 or so bolts holding on the snout, then when the snout comes off the coupler is right there. There is a good right up on it @ www.zzperformance.com when you go and find the coupler they sell.

Stage 1 from Intense is installed on the 2001 GTP.........
man this thing is FAST!! Definately running low low 14's or high 13's! Intense PCM Cold Air Box w/ K & N cone 3.4 Pulley 180-stat Plugs New Belts Now my GAGT is slower why did the gas mileage go down on the GTP?
